SEALS are smart enough not to give themselves “Glock Leg.” I’ll stick with my hammer fired Sig P226, P229, and P224. The whole family from full sized to subcompact.

My son is with Federal Protective Service. One of the best pieces of advice he gave me was 80% pressure with the off trigger hand and 20% pressure with the trigger hand. I shoot way better.

I learned to shoot on Sigs. 226, 228, and 239 were all fun guns to shoot. One day at a local range I tried out the Glock 26 (9mm subcompact). I placed everything in the 9pt ring or better and 2/3 the range’s length every time I fired it. I love Sigs, but Glocks love me. I’ll take accuracy over anything any day. The fact that they’re significantly cheaper helps as well, although I’ll take a Sig’s breakdown lever any day.

I was going for the LCP 380 for a car gun (something small and light to keep in the car in case things get crazy while I’m on the road), but settled on a Glock 26. Bigger bullet, more rounds, and it can use the mags from my 17, so don’t have to pick up any more.

Just waiting for the hopefully still in effect promotion and pay raise to come in and I’ll be getting it.
