This is about freeing up John McCain to campaign for an establishment candidate.
You also had Graham taking his name off the ballot rather than being a zombie candidate with no support or money but still on the ballot. The deadline was today I believe.

One less seat needed at the kiddie table.
About time...past time actually!
Newest GOPe strategery on display, starting...
Graham+Pataki+Kasich+Fiorina+Krispy = 10-12 points for Jebito...
The “Comeback Kid”, Part Dos!

Now Lindsey’s 0.1% support will bring Jeb up to 7.1 rather than his previous 7% in the polls.

Adios bitch. There goes another “splitter” failure. Linda was supposed to split off the state pride vote in S.C. thereby lowering the necessary winning percentage for Yeb.
Oh well. I guess both of Linda’s supporters will now vote for Yeb.

Lindsey sitting pretty in the drivers seat, holding all the cards as he decides who to throw his support to.

I am going to go out on a limb here...
I always saw Lindsey as a proxy for Sen. McCain because frankly he knew we couldn't or wouldn't listen to him on the national stage.
So with that said...
Does that mean McCain is throwing in the towel and his desire to be "influential" to refocus his energies against Dr.Kelli Ward as she makes a serious bid to Primary him into retirement?
Given our angst with Sen McCain's political performance over the years, one may hope he sees the light and possibly just retire...

Gee, it was like he was never in it. Now the networks can hire him to have stupid opinions about Trump.
