And Rush should have. My family and I have been very strong supporters of Donald Trump, but his leftist attacks over the weekend have made us rethink our support. Ted Cruz has been one of the few, fighting the establishment, and didnât deserve Trumpâs depiction of him. Right now, we donât know who we are going to vote for anymore. And were sick about it.
Scalia was citing an argument that had been made earlier during oral argument.
Its the same argument that has been made by Thomas Sowell. Due to affirmative action, some minority students are accepted into schools for which they are unprepared. As a consequence, they fail. Whereas, had they attended a lower ranked school, they may well have succeeded.
The argument is not only a product of common sense, it is also a demonstrable fact.
At the same time, every affirmative action admission is keeping a qualified student from attending the school.
Accordingly, admission policies which feature affirmative action are actually unfair to two groups -- those accepted...and those left out.
You want to know what's disturbing and telling?
That the audience of Trump admirers laughed at Trump's flip remark, "I like people who weren't captured" when he was belittling McCain's "war hero" status.
That when the same interviewer asked him if he'd ever asked God for forgiveness (a stupid question easy to deflect), Trump paused and replied, "That's a tough question," the audience laughed, and he want on for the next minute or two with a serious answer to the question posed that boiled down to: "not me!"
THAT is disturbing and telling.
Ha ha ha.... "The Donald's" bubble may be bursting. After "The Donald" loses, you Kardashian Conservatives can go back to making lousy sex tapes with people of different races, akin to your template, Kim Kardashian.
Btw... There's a French Kim Kardashian named Nabilla Benattia. She could be going to jail for 30 years for stabbing her fiancé (not interacial). Don't take things to far guys.
The media in general will look for any way to cast Justice Scalia in a negative light. He is a great protector of our constitutional rights, one of the greats. It is understandable that the media portrayal of him is bound to lead us to a bad conclusion. I admire this Columbia professor who wrote this editorial and give credit to CNN where it’s due, for posting it.
Donald Trump is a very good man who is doing a national service in this campaign by destroying the politically correct fraud that is hurting our country very badly. He is putting all the political establishment on trial. He is in a very influential position and really has to be careful in what he says. This was not his best public statement.
I understand that now. He did not express that well at all.
Thank you.
Or you could call it genius campaigning on the part of Cruz.
I just fail to see how Freepers lose if Ted Cruz is our next President. Seems to be no downside and frankly more upside than if Trump is.
I found myself thinking the other day that Trump would be just that vulnerable to manipulation by a skilled opponent.
Trump's real problem is that all he's got is bluster.
Now that ya mention it ... that's right, isn't it? I think conservatism sails over his head. What we see coming from him now is all he's got.
top misrepresenting Trump supporters. Thanks.
The fact that somebody complained and my comment was deleted says a lot about you thin skinned Trumpistas.

I fail to see why.
You are correct. Thanks for putting that in perspective, GG2.
It was more than aggravating and it was wrong. It wasn’t just Trump, using the word, “maniac,” it was his going after Cruz over his stand against the establishment heads. And I know, as I said in my post, that there isn’t a true conservative running, but we’re going to vote for the one closest to it. And right now, it’s looking more like it may be Ted Cruz.
Rush is no different then Beck, their entertainers just like cher is.
I suppose that you meant:
Rush is no different than Beck, they're entertainers just like Cher.
What Cruz said was nothing. But for Trump to rip and call Cruz a maniac is beyond ok. Trump has shown his true colors and cant be trusted farther than I can spit.
I think we’re seeing that all you’ve got is saying that bluster is all Trump’s got. I feel like I’m stuttering every 5th post reading your same comments over and over.
I’d bet on the consistent conservative Cruz over flip-flopper Trump
