Liberalism can be best described as cognitive dissonance, a mental illness, because of its contradictions (e.g. against death penalty but killing babies, absolutely against absolute truth, for evolution but supporting homosexuality). In addition to being a mental illness, liberalism is paradoxical, for it loves itself (exhalts self above all), yet hates itself at the same time (promoting enemies that only wish to kill it). Why? The only answer we can apply is the Biblical one; To worship yourself is to hate yourself, because self-worship is idolatry. The person who bows to false idols separates himself from God, consigning himself to death and judgment. This spiritual suicide drives a person to hate himself, hate God, and especially hate truth, which makes liberalism a most useful ally to Islam.
Jesus Christ's death and resurrection were the most important events in the history of the universe. Even more important than God's intelligent design of the universe, God left His position as Creator/Governor of the Universe to assume the status of created being/yet God at the same time. He then paid the moral penalty that our sins and rebellion deserved because he loves us. All nations and all people will be judged by their acceptance or rejection of this truth. Yet liberalism rejects God's sacrifice for us, the same as they reject scientific creation, in favor of non-scientific evolution (i.e. the reject the Law of Conservation of Energy and Law of Thermodynamics in favor of the crazy theory of evolution). But this will not last long, for Jesus Christ is coming soon to judge the quick and the dead. How do we know? The reestablishment of Israel is our greatest sign...
Isaiah 32: 1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment. [...] 3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim , and the ears of them that hear shall hearken. 4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly. 5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful. 6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
Well said, sir, well said.
No wonder Aaron was freaked out. *That* wasn't what was supposed to have come out of the fire.
