They're putting feelers out to judge blow back.
No secret many of us are still pissed as hell about the Cochran deal in MS and it shouldn't be any secret to them that they will create a nation-wide firestorm if they step over that line again.
Let's hope they aren't as stupid as they seem to be.
Let's hope many more of the People decide it's time to invest themselves in conservative causes instead of just paying ineffectual lip service...
Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate as the next President.
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other FReeloader

This is really bad juju.
Just think for a moment how this plays out.
Trump wins the nomination fair and square. But the GOPe cooks up some bullship reason to deny him the nomination and hands it instead to Jeb, Marco or Mitt Romney.
Trump I suspect WOULD go third party. The GOPe would be condemned to finish a distant third.
HOWEVER....
IF they can deny Trump a clear majority of the electoral votes (in worst-case by using corrupt state party chairmen to deny him ballot access in key states) they could throw the election to the House of Representatives.
Under Paul “Little Boehner” Ryan they would most certainly install the RINO as POTUS. Even if he came in third with 19% of the vote.
CW II would be on. Obama might have his excuse to not leave. The GOPe is going to put us into a very ugly situation.
They want the Cheap Labor Express not a wall and sending illegals back.
They want to keep shipping American’s jobs overseas and don’t care if the U6 Unemployement is 20%
They want to Pork up with the Dems the federal deficit with patronage and Pork.
Trump won’t take their money and if Making America Great again ruins the K street Ho’s party he will do be against them. They cannot control Trump. All the above are reasons to support Trump
If we support Trump that may mean SUPPORTING TRUMP.....i.e. flooding the streets around the convention with the biggest, angriest mob they’ve ever seen. Bring your pitchforks.
I don’t see a brokered convention. The RNC will try to, instead, short circuit the primary process, have states ban Trump from their primary ballots, decertify delegations, etc. They don’t care what the voters think or that they will lose their majorities in the Congress if they succeed. They don’t even really care if they lose their own seats. All those who lose seats believe they will instantly become lobbyists at a financial gain.
The RNC brought this on themselves. All they needed was to listen to Ted Cruz and govern like conservatives.
Problem solved.
I think that is one of those "If you have to ask how much it costs..." kind of questions.
They want him to go third party. They don’t want him winning the nomination and election, thereby messing up or exposing the uni-party and it’s globalist, anti-American agenda. They don’t mind if Hillary wins. She is uni-party.
I wish people would get this. If an election come down to a conservative versus a Demonrate, the GOP uni-party would rather have the Demonrat. They don’t mind being the minority uni-party in Congress, either.
