1. Say we have to fight “hateâ€, the emotion, as if that is the driving motivator for all bad in the world.
2. Say rivals are driven by hate, not alternative priorities and world-views. You demonize them as evil and deny their logical basis for disagreeing in one swoop.
3. Argue for banning “hate speechâ€, which includes everything that opposes your views, because they are all just “hatersâ€.
4. You have limits on speech, association and public expression in the name of banning hate, and you get fascism wrapped up in warm and fuzzy protecting of feelings.

At least 72 employees at the Department of Homeland Security are listed on the U.S. terrorist watch list, according to a Democratic lawmaker.
Rep. Stephen Lynch (D., Mass.) disclosed that a congressional investigation recently found that at least 72 people working at DHS also “were on the terrorist watch list.â€

This coming from a person who sent and received sensitive information, to include top secret, over insecure email lines and instructed her subordinates how to get past installed security features to send her other sensitive information that normally would be red flagged by the system. It has been rumored that her actions cost the life of a CIA operative overseas who she identified over some emails. Can we say Scooter Libby actions on steroids? That is defined as espionage and treason. Who’s she kidding?
