I hate to say it, but I would NOT recommend any patriotic male joining the Armed Forces these days. The political correctness and a politicized leadership following asinine ideologies and orders - will get you killed, out of sheer stupidity.

Militaries are for protection of the weak and innocent, not a place for pretending that everyone can do everything.
This ain’t Cosmopolitan magazine. I feel sorry for the generals who are obliged to obey the civilian leadership...but some of them ought to stand down and go to the nation with the truth.

This is a HUGE mistake.
When I was stationed in Germany, my unit had females in it (I was in a brigade HQ at the time) and upon receiving the warning order that we were being deployed to Bosnia under Operation Joint Endeavor aka IFOR (Implementation FORce), a majority of the females in the unit scrambled around to render themselves “non-deployable” by getting knocked up.
It killed morale, and pissed a lot of us off because it meant having to shoulder more weight to achieve the mission.
What gets me about this is that the feminists want men brought up on sexual harassment charges if they brush up against a woman in a narrow passageway or if they make an off-color joke in their presence. I guess it is just too much for the women to deal with. What do they think is going to happen to them when they are captured on the front line ? It is going to be more than off-color jokes. Yet they push for this.

Having done my 20yrs, 7 in 2nd Ranger Bn, and 13 in Special Forces, this will not end well. Stupid pc assclowns are gonna get our young men killed...and I have a vested interest because both my sons are currently serving.

I thank God that I was in the Military years before Political Correctness ruled the day.
Now, Political Correctness will ensure the death of many men who were forced to drag along a weaker ( both emotionally and physically ) burden with them as they fought the enemy.

I guess most of the posters didn’t read the article. Maintaining standards means they will have to adhere to all the same criteria as the males, and they can’t.
