And so my hope is that we're able to contain this particular shooting, and we don't yet know what the motives of the shooters are, but what we do know is that there are steps we can take to make Americans safer, and that we should come together in a bipartisan basis at every level of government to make these rare as opposed to normal. We should never think that this is something that just happens in the ordinary course of events, because it doesn't happen with the same frequency in other countries."

These situations are caused by several things:

1. The present administration pretends there is no such thing as militant Islam.

2. Our country has for many years abandoned its responsibility to deal with the mentally ill. So these folks are now roaming the streets all over the country, causing innumerable problems. Maybe sometimes they get hold of a gun. But they also stab people, assault and rape them, and cause much of the country’s crime (also known as “the homeless”).

3. The present administration’s core constituencies are the same folks that cause the overwhelming majority of gun violence, that is, black people and Latino people.

This is what causes the “gun violence” problems.

For as much as people on FR condone the killing of workers at abortion clinics, you would think this same group would be in favor of taking out the nutjob in the White House. I mean, in the eyes of many, both are guilty of getting people killed.

But when it comes to Obama, it is much like a bent-over Chip said in Animal House: "Thank you, sir! May I have another?"
