The shooter was at PP. The police were basically pinned down hundreds of feet away, at the Chase Branch, for example. We are talking 700 feet or so. They knew where he was, and they were worried he'd escape around them to the north. It took hours to assemble the necessary forces and isolate the shooter, so that he could be killed or captured (he chose the latter) and rescue the civilians.

There was never any attempt on any bank. His agenda was PP, period.

Seems that everyone here has forgotten that Obama publicly stated they were not going to report details about mass shootings. Censoring is the new tactic (in their little minds) to supposedly prevent copycats. Frankly, their hiding the truth is worse than the risk of copycats at this point. I believe this statement was made prior to, or immediately after the Oregon shooting.

Difference is, the Oregon response in letting the facts out was a big middle finger to our Dictator where I am certain Colorado will pirouette for the Halfrican Nazi the moment he twitches his pinky.

He killed two PP visitors (not including Officer Swasey) and injured some additional number.

Apparently, most of the PP personnel retreated behind a locked door and bullet-proof class until the crisis blew over. PP had upgraded their security, having moved to their current location from Old Colorado City, due to protesters.

Nope. The officer at Chase Bank who was hit counts as located at PP as far as I am concerned, even if he was 700+ feet from the shooter, who was by PP.

PP was always the focus of the incident.

I don’t see how. PP is a billion dollar corporation that gets dollars from taxpayers while charging women $5000 for abortions...simples to deal with PP. Stop its taxpayer funding.

Their existence would be an irritation but it certainly would ease the situation.

So far we know that at least 3 were shot outside the building and had no apparent connection to PP that the shooter would have known.

The cop who was killed was shot outside the building, FOX just reported that the Iraqi war vet was shot outside the building, and an aging hippie was shot in his car in the parking lot.

The cop shot at Kings Soopers was shot before the shooter barricaded himself at the corner of the PP building (outside of the building) where the shooter was shooting at police units entering the area. Most of the wounded were police.

I'm not saying it can't be done, but someone shooting an AK over 200 yards who hasn't had either a lot of range time or doesn't have a good scope is doing pretty well, especially when the cop is likely behind his car if there is shooting going on. The first police officer down was bushwhacked, most likely, and not from by the corner of the PP building.
