Herman Cain didn't slip, he self-destructed. Also, he wasn't leading the race for very long. Nobody even heard of him until the September/October timeframe. By Thanksgiving, Gloria Allred and her army of bimbos did their damage and he would suspend his campaign a week later.
Even if not for that however, Cain wouldn't have lasted. It was already becoming evident he was in way over his head based on some of his answers to foreign policy questions.
Dumb analogy by Jebbie all around. But here's the killer: Mitt Romney was always in contention for the lead. Even when Cain was leading, Romney was right behind him with about 20-25% of the vote. I don't think Romney was ever under 20% in any poll. Jebbie on the other hand has been in single digits since early summer and shows no signs of improving on that. Even if Trump and Carson were to tumble out of contention, it would be Cruz and Rubio filling the gap. Not Jebbie.

If Jeb were the nomininee it isn’t only tomorrow that I won’t be voting, it will also be next November on election day.
