Yes, they all like Trump.
Yes, they all like Trump.
I prefer not to take my marching orders from any group.
No, not even from a group with which I frequently agree.
I and they all can't stand the amnesty loving heavy sweater, Marco and haven't liked him for years!
I have no reason to dispute that.
But so what?
To reiterate: My own opinion is not based upon the opinions of others.
And, in any case, Marco Rubio seems to have a better chance of defeating Hillary Clinton (the presumptive Democratic nominee) than anyone else does; and that is certainly paramount, in my book.
"But so what?" ?
I was giving you a very good reason WHY I doubt that Rubio will be the GOP presidential nominee. And Hillary would eat him alive, if he managed to be the nominee.
He's easily influenced by others and being Shmucky Chucky Schumer's puppet, as well as McQueeg's, means that he'd make a lousy president !
In your defense, you do have the recent McClatchy/Marist poll, and NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, which show Hillary Clinton ahead of Marco Rubio by five points and three points, respectively.
But the Fox News poll (conducted between November 16 and November 19) shows Rubio ahead by eight points. (Quinnipiac shows him ahead by just five points; and the Democratic-leaning PPD poll shows him ahead by only two points.)
This translates to an average lead by Marco Rubio, of 1.4 points: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/us/general_election_rubio_vs_clinton-3767.html
Are you for Marco?
If so.....WHY ?
You are all in for amnesty...eh ?
If so.....WHY ?
Ideally, my favorite candidate would probably be Ted Cruz. Realistically, however, I think the GOP needs someone who can bridge the gap between the two main wings of the Republican Party (i.e. Establishment Republicans and the Tea Party). Anyone else is very likely to lose the general election to Hillary Clinton, in my opinion.
And for Hillary Clinton to be president for the next four years--perhaps even the next eight years--is a thought that I do not wish to entertain...
Pssssssssssssssst....Rubio won't even win the primary in Florida!
Pssssssssssssssst....Rubio won't even win the primary in Florida!
(1) To describe Marco Rubio as "amnesty loving" is surely to caricature him; and not very accurately, at that. (The mere fact that he is not nearly so hardline as Donald Trump is, is hardly a disqualifier in my book.)
(2) The fact that he may not disagree with Charles Schumer on everything hardly makes him into a "sock-puppet" of the man.
(3) You appear to be cherry-picking issues, in order to find fault with Sen. Rubio.
(4) Whether Marco Rubio will win the Florida primary, or not, was not central (or even peripheral) to my point, viz.: that he is the most likely Republican to defeat Hillary Clinton, in my opinion.
And that, I think, is of paramount importance.
Marco was the protege of both Charlie Crist and twee jebbie Bush and he's hardly different from them.
The baby face weasel was turned so damned fast, when he first got to elected/went off to D.C., that it is shocking! And yes, he was/is schmucky Schumer's little sock-puppet!
Well, a recent Fox News poll has him ahead of her by eight percentage points. (True, it is rather early to put too much stock in general-election polls: but it does not seem prudent to be quite so dismissive of his chances, either.)

This appears to be no more than second-rate flamebaiting. (And even first-rate flamebaiting is nothing to be proud of, in my opinion.)
