Not going to vote for anyone not named Trump or Cruz, no matter what party they are with.A big +1 amen to that.

As I wrote when GOPe was asking Trump to sign the agreement.
If he does not sign, the GOPe will use every dirty trick in the book to defeat him.

It is my understanding the pledge is not binding.

I think GOPe would be happy with a third party. It would then be Hillay which they're perfectly ok with. The same results for them as when they put up ¡Jeb! against her, so why should they give a DemoRAT's patootie?

The answer should be:
“I will be the Republican nominee. You should ask Jeb that question”.

If the 'pubs steal the nomination for the likes of Jeb or Kasich, and hillary is handed the Dem nod, I'd think a third-party Trump candidacy would resonate. Absolutely. A Bush vs Clinton with Trump as a third party would be a Trump victory. Ensured victory if Cruz goes 3rd party and runs as veep with Trump.

I do too, but I think the Dems would win with a plurality.

It's sad that the likes of Michael Moore and all republican haters are right about the "big donors" who control the party. Every "every day Joe" should vow to never vote for an establishment republican. And if a person runs for congress against the establishment then changes his tune, vote his butt out. Unfortunately, there are too many Low-Information GOP voters, plus a big chunk of "lesser of two evil" voters out there still. They're the ones that will run to the polls for eventual nominee ¡Jeb!

Why doesn’t he simply come out and say, “if you don’t nominate me, I’m going to go 3rd party and hand the election to Hillary Clinton?”
Why the back-and-forth kabuki dance?

Good. Let the GOP be scared. They should be.

The pledge was designed that all Republican candidates support the nominee. That obviously is not being adhered to so the pledge is null and void.
I want the GOP to support whoever wins the primaries. But Trump must do what he feels is the right thing.

What the hell is a Kabuki dance? I keep hearing this ridiculous phrase from Washingtonians and their running dogs. It makes no sense to me. And I’ve seen Kabuki theater.

If the GOPee does not back down from this madness Trump needs to make the largest ad buy in history and attack the GOPee directly...24/7 Imagine a billion dollar ad buy.
He could create a new party, “The Real Republican Party”
It is the GOPee that has abandoned conservatism, not Trump.
Define the GOPee and the Democrat party as a single evil entity and run against that evil.

Actually , you’re right.. “Kabuki dance” is too generous for Trump. “Cheap, attention-getting antic” would be more appropriate.

Kabuki dance is what you get when the hivemind’s meme-ory falters.
