The so-called reasonable man argument. Isn't it funny how the left invariable falls on one side of the argument ("I can't trust myself with firearms so no one should have firearms") and the right falls on the other side ("Yes, there's a chance that an inept man with a gun makes things worse but I'm willing to take that chance").
I believe that it goes to a basic understanding (misunderstanding) of human character. The left pretends to hold the individual in the highest regard but in truth they don't trues anyone - especially themselves. The right OTOH displays a cynical public face but in truth recognizes that human character runs the gamut.
It is manifested in the age-old axiom that "If a conservative doesn't want to own a gun he doesn't own one. If a leftist doesn't want to own a gun he makes sure that no one can own one."
they ignore the majority
Now it should be obvious to even the most stupid person that we cannot stop radical Muslims from getting guns. And not just handguns, but also assault rifles and grenades.
You would think the average liberal would have enough brains to realize that in a terrorist attack, it is much better to have a firearm on your person than not have one. But I guess maybe all the brains of liberals have fallen out of their skulls.
Liberal brains leak out of the ears and mouth
I read somewhere that the terrorists reloaded FOUR times (so much for hi-cap mag bans). She may have a chance though if she lives in NY state where mags higher than seven round capacity are banned.
