I thought it was a good segment. It was one of the only ones I got to hear today.

The GOP-E is attempting to attack their frontrunner through a super-PAC. To the extent it is from Kasich, then it’s just normal fighting in a primary campaign.

To the extent it is funded by the party, it is not fair game.

I DO NOT now send money to the party except locally. Their goals and mine are entirely different.

I agree with you, but I think Cruz would strengthen the Trump ticket, but then again what do I know. He’s unpredictable. I think he’ll pick someone who has the governing experience. Jeff Sessions for example.

Why is the GOPe, media and talking heads going after their own candidates?

I would think that if your a candidate for x party the head of x party would support you....if your a candidate of y party then the head of that party would support you...

No wonder we have such a messed up country....12 months isn’t going to get here soon enough....

It’s possible that it’s just Kasich attacking Trump through his PAC. That is fair in a primary campaign. If Kasich is getting cash from the GOP to attack Trump, then that isn’t fair. But, if it’s one candidate against another, then it’s just normal business.

For me, the real point here is that Kasich is going no place, and I don’t see this vaulting him into any solid position. I think he’s just PO’d at Trump for battering him during the debates, so he’s getting even. He’s got this money, and rather than return it, he’s going down spending it all against Trump. I’m surprised Jindal didn’t do the same.

Kasich is doing so poorly that it’ll be hard to really hurt him in any poll numbers kind of way, so you’ve got to wonder what his vulnerabilities are otherwise. I’m guessing he’ll try to take Sherod Brown’s senate seat from him in Ohio when it is up, but that’s a ways down the road.

Wasn’t Club for Growth involved in these ads somewhere? Could that be why Trump’s attorney is going after them?

I don’t know...it isn’t like Kasich is important, he certainly doesn’t have anything backing him that would throw him to the top of the polls....

People I talk to say that as a Governor he’s ok, but they don’t even know why he is trying to be President....beyond me...

I’m in his state. He’s a lot better than the last few governors we’ve had.

He blew it when he entered the race. He should have entered as a conservative, and he entered as an establishment moderate. Terrible decision. He should have gone the blue collar, fiscal conservative republican direction that he does here. That’s who he is, and it probably would have sold better. Terrible handlers, but he makes the final decision. He made a bad one.

Isn’t Club for Growth a PAC? I don’t think they like Trump, but favor Cruz instead. I don’t know if they’re teamed with Kasich, but I would be surprised. It would be a waste of good money.
