I did get through to my state legislative representative and they ARE getting a lot of phone calls and emails on this very issue. I was told that *something* may be in the works. Let’s pray and see...

My guess is of course Oturdhead will fight them

Anybody know the procedure for this?

My guess is the courts.

Any attorneys out there, or others, who know how this works?

Ohio has hitched itself to the no Syrian refugees train:

At least ten Republican governors are moving to block Syrian refugees from entering their states after Friday's terrorist attacks in Paris that killed at least 130 people and wounded hundreds more.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant, Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson on Monday joined Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley and Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder in refusing to accept refugees from Syria. GOP governors reject Syrian refugees

Sounds like a very good idea and it would make a good start for similar action in regards to illegals and other immigrants.

But the question I have is HOW DO THE STATES ENFORCE their prohibition of these “immigrants”?

If states can prohibit these immigrants it implies that they have the ability to control their own borders by some form of state citizenship and state ICE. So if so, why not exercise the same stance on aliens and other illegals?

I can guess that this means more refugees for the states that will welcome the refugees, like Washington State. Our governor will take more without giving it a second thought.

What about palestinian, afghan, libya, algeria, somalia, iraq and on and on and on?

Obunghole has no shortage of muslims, terrorists and raconteurs to move into our country to further his agenda of destruction.

WISCONSIN!

http://www.nbc15.com/home/headlines/More-governors-announce-their-states-wont-accept-Syrian-Refugees-after-Paris-massacre-350663911.html

UPDATE: Wisconsin Republicans don’t want Syrian refugees

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republican leaders of the Wisconsin state Assembly say they don’t want Syrian refugees in the state.

They are circulating a letter to be sent to President Barack Obama’s administration Monday saying they don’t want refugees from Syria in Wisconsin given the Paris terrorist attacks. Authorities say a Syrian passport was found near one of the attackers.

Several U.S. governors are threatening to halt efforts to relocate Syrians in their states. Gov. Scott Walker said in September that the U.S. should not take in any more refugees from Syria. His spokeswoman did not immediately return a message seeking comment Monday.

Republican Assembly Speaker Robin Vos says no refugees should be allowed in Wisconsin until steps are taken to ensure no terrorists slip through.

True. Inslee will probably invite any of the “refugees” who are rejected from other states to go to Washington State.

Yeah. I can read. There’s a big difference between “US should not” and “My State WILL not”.
