Yep, “Hearts and Mindsâ€, a proven winning strategy... Or not. I've heard that full broadsides of 16" at 20,000 yards work pretty well with people like that.
Other people have written lyrically about B-52H's.

I was watching some real-life movie about Afghanistan (”Restrepo” maybe?) and they are in a bit of a shooting exchange between them and a couple of houses.
This muslim guy walks between the two houses, and once he enters the shooting starts up again. He was no doubt the shooter, and using the two places for two different effective positions. But when he walked between them he wasn't carrying a firearm - so our guys couldn't shoot him!
In another battle they storm some small building where guys were shooting at them. One of our soldiers kills a guy as he storms into the dark room. Then immediately shouts something like “Oh crap - I thought he had a gun! He's got a gun doesn't he!!?? I'm in trouble aren't I!!?? Oh crap!” Just went off un-hinged. (The muslim had fallen on his gun).
