awesome
I knew a logger that bought a Subaru. Great for the narrow trails. He said every day for a month the guys at work would have a new liberal bumper sticker for him!
From the comments at the article:
Jack, Donna and Rowdy, Donna’s nephew, showed up to take care of their bull. Jack was bent down and a*second from shooting the bull when a cop grabbed him from the back and spun him around. He shot Jack in the stomach and the other cop shot him 4 times in the chest. The cops were standing behind Jack. Donna and Rowdy rushed down to Jack and the cops threw them face down on the ground and had guns to their head. Between what happened to her husband and the rough treatment, she had a massive heart attack. She was life flighted to Boise. She had another last night. This story came from Jack’s nephew and it was told to him by Rowdy. The sheriff wanted Rowdy to change his account. The bull (becoming aggressive) seems key to the story but it wasn’t even in the account I heard from Jack’s nephew. There was crew trying to get the people out of the car that hit the bull. This sounds like a big coverup to me (the news account). I just can’t understand how those cops could have done that. We seem to get the ex military rambos around here. I’ve heard plenty about these deputies being difficult. I don’t know how Donna is doing. I hate to bother the family. I am pretty close to her and I’m so worried she isn’t going to make it.(This is a post on FB)Reply With Quote
“...dissing of Subies. Great cars. I have a Forester.”
I’m a firm believer of using the full potential of a vehicle regardless of its public image. I use my Toyota Corolla to tow my 1400 lb. Scout 145 fishing boat. I get some looks but at low tide I pull right out of the ramp using the Corolla’s FWD while the RWD trucks’ wheels spin.
Seriously, only #blacklivesmatter would suggest that the case pictured was typical. The vast majority of police shootings are justifiable, based on the actions of the individuals shot.
The vast majority of police shootings are justifiable, based on the actions of the individuals shot.
The vast majority of police shootings are justifiable, based on investigations run by the police themselves.
Truck: Doesn't match suspect vehicle.
Drivers: Don't match suspect.
Police: Cleared.
“According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics released in 2015 estimate the number of people killed by the police to be around 930 per year, or 1240 if assuming that non-reporting local agencies kill people at the same rate as reporting agencies.”
So, what percentage of these killings do *you* believe are unjustified?
This guy trains cops to be trigger happy, then testifies in their behalf when they murder someone. He has blood on his hands
In answer to your question, when this guy testifies, you can bet that any sane person would consider it UN-justified.
Believe it or not, YEARS ago in Oklahoma my uncle, a well known drinker(?)was going home with his wife (a well known idiot) in the car. He hit a bull, which limped off with a broken foreleg, and smashed his car up real bad. The Cops pulled up, asked her if she had been driving she said “No my husband was.” They asked ‘ Where is your husband ?’ She said “Oh, he’s off shooting the bull.” They were getting ready to handcuff her when Dutch showed up from the side of the road.
So, what percentage of these killings do *you* believe are unjustified?
According to the investigations...the ones done by police and their cronies?
Who cares? That's like asking BLM how many were justified.
The reason it matters is that if you think say 1% of police shootings are illegitimate, this means that the odds against this particular shooting being illegitimate are 99 to 1.
Heck, even if you think that the police are positively maniacs, enough so that 10% of all police shootings are murder, that still has odds against this particular shooting being illegitimate of 9 to 1.
Unless there is some real evidence against the police, I have not been swayed one bit that they did wrong, given the circumstances.
Dead men tell no tales. The modern police force is composed of paramilitary wannabes.
The problem here is cops are taught THEIR lives are more important than civilians. WRONG. They work for US and its their job to protect US. OUR lives are more important than THEIRS and its more important they don’t kill innocent people than one of them gets injured. Its their job and what they are paid for. If they don’t like it they should leave. A guy like this is a NAZI monster. The police have been turned from peace officers to an paramilitary force of occupation. You are safer from a National Guardsman than one of these NAZIs.

“Thinking were not getting all the story yet.”
That’s because the sheriff is busy concocting it! I am in no way a fan of Quentin Tarrantino, but there is a scintilla of truth to the idea that cops do kill innocent people and 99 times out of 100, when they do, they get away with it. It will be interesting to see what the outcome is here. Idaho isn’t Chicago.
“I would put the Prius drivers right up there with the Subarus.”
Let’s not forget older Volvos with Che Guevara bumper stickers!
grief, I have always wanted a Subaru because of the 4-wheel drive. I had no idea I would be supporting leftism and would need a Che Guevara bumper sticker.
seriously, I wanted one since high school 20 years ago when a friend had one. I thought it was cool that a car had 4-wheel. Beyond that, I don’t know much about them.
I've done that with horses. Some of the hired help that local stables employ aren't too swift, and more to the point, they don't' speak very good horse. Had more than one occasion where I've had to intervene to get a critter calmed down and back in hand.
