Except on education...
I remember him as a pretty good governor down here. My wife, a public school teacher, at first welcomed his education changes because all the other teachers did but came to despise Bush for those changes in less than a year,

Jeb is the wrong guy on so many levels, it’s almost laughable. The worst part is that even if he got the nomination, he would be a sitting duck for Hillary. He would not punch back.
He need someone who will fight. The only two people I see capable of doing that are Trump or Cruz.

We decipher the political BS faster than they can speak it.""""........
AGREE.....and Free Republic proves just that point.
My gosh no sooner than something hits the media print or air, FREE Republic Freepers have dissected it down to the last ounce of ink.
Free Republic must be the Progressive, Liberals or whatever the hell they call themselves today, Free Republic must be their WORSE nightmare, even above RUSH. jmo
RUSH is great, but many Freepers have the ideas even before he speaks them, then he can expound on them as no one else can.

The scion of a very political family broke all the rules Saturday, including the one about never surrendering to a bully. A bully smells blood. I'm personally getting tired of the pundits labeling anyone who doesn't toe the political correctness and friends all around rules in politics as a "bully".
Trumps approach is considered uncouth to the glad-mouths of the political class, but is merely brash in the real world. It does NOT come even close to bullying. Fournier, as a commentator, and Bush, as a spineless anti-american GOP rat, can't handle a little brashness.
Hell, Trump's brashness could be considered perfect manners among denizens of NYC.

That nasty bitch with her hands on her hips at the debate is a perfect illustration of who Jebbe is. He's a spoiled rich bitch who thinks he's entitled to rule over us. He's no different then that other fat filthy bitch Hillary clintoon.

Yeah, that’s right up there with Michael Dukakis in the Army tank.

Well we have seen what makes Jeb tick...we have seen when he doesn't get his own way, how dirty he is; we have seen when he doesn't have his big boy panties on, how small he is; we have seen when he gets his feelings hurt, he runs back to mommy and daddy....
Funny thing, all the movies and MSM made people believe that Jeb was the Bush everyone (especially his family) thought would become President. They all thought that George W could never win, he was too aloof and too wild and too offhanded, etc...
Jeb has OBVIOUSLY been spoon fed that he is "great". He seems like your average rich-kid: my daddy's rich, so I deserve greatness!
Well, EFF YOU, Jeb! Go AWAY!

Trump may be a bully, but i really like having a bully on our side for a change.
Reminds me of the 1980 movie My Bodyguard

Trump, Cruz and Carson. Those are the only three viable contenders in my opinion. And I'm not 100% sold on Carson being viable. I'm still thinking to four years ago when Herman Cain was riding high in the polls and then he folded like a cheap suit when Gloria Allred paraded those bimbos around. Not sure if Carson does not have similar skeletons we don't know about.
I believe Trump and Cruz are fully vetted. Not much about them we don't know already.

Behind closed doors his father was always angry and contemptuous about Conservative Republicans. I remember a Time Magazine article from 1992 that quoted him saying (about right wingers) “F@#$ those people. There’s no satisfying them”. So this is the kind of thing Jeb has been hearing since forever. His father and brother possessed enough sense and discipline to control what they said in public and put up a credible pretense. Both men, one a Navy aviator, first US ambassador to Red China, and director of the CIA, and the other a pilot of a widow-maker mach 2 interceptor and hard drinking Hell raiser who reformed himself by finding Jesus and the love of a good woman, are at least real men. Jeb’s the flabby spoiled baby brother who lacks all that and probably resents the fact that he’s expected to carry on the family business.

Your logic is sound but I wouldn’t dismiss Fiorina as the GOPe backup. She’s a RINO player and they know she’ll do what they want.

If Trump (or another outside) gets to the convention with the most delegates and the rules are changed, the GOP is dead. Whoever the leader is, if he gets screwed, the GOP is guaranteed 3rd place.

Jeb didn't go to Yale like his father and brother. He couldn't get in even with his father's legacy and having gone to prep school at Andover. He doesn't seem too bright. That's really interesting. The conspiracy people assume that Scull and Bones people are in charge of the world. What weird things I saw about them on Youtube over the weekend. Actually there are an awful lot of super secret organizations out there.
