F—K YOU!!
Am using Ghostery and it’s up to date. This kind of thing can happen but I’ve been taking precautions and using rubbers to handle my email.
I will check my deleted junk mail.
This is horrid!
But yes.
Email lists are sold or donated, or whatever. I made a couple of contributions to a senatorial candidate in 2010 and now I receive emails from most of the Republican presidential candidates and several other Republican notables.
Get on one candidate's email list and you're likely to pop up on many more.
Nothing is private anymore.”
You’re right about that. I have several oddball email addresses and on one of them I received a coupon for most everything I bought at that store a couple of weeks ago. Fortunately it wasn’t from the store I normally go to and only went there because I had a gift card from them given to me by a client for my birthday. Only way they could have gotten that information was from where I registered the card on line which was required before I could use it.
Everybody shares everything. Guess one way to protect yourself is always use cash, never get a discount card in your real name and never go on the internet.
Hey George, how about if he runs for president of his beloved Mejico? He’d stand a lot better chance and then he can speak espanol all the time. Comprende?
We should all mail in those “pesos” with Jorge’s face on ‘em.
might protect your email status, there’s a way, I don’t know it, maybe someone here can tell you.
7 Pro 64-bit. Why?
It’s protected very well. I have no idea where the Bush campaign got this particular email address that I reserved for non-silliness communications.
If the Bush campaign bought it, it wasn’t from any other political entity because I’ve never given this address to another such group or person.
Perhaps the email isn’t genuinely from the Bush campaign (spoofed address) and former President George W. Bush.
I’m not concerned with spam in this matter; there are ways I handle spam.
But it is a curious thing to me.
Poor Dubya. I’ll bet Jeb had to promise to wash his car for a year to get him to sign that letter. :-)
Because 10 is pretty much data collection spyware.
