He is despised by the media, even supposed conservative media. I had a fantasy scene in my head today that Cruz calls out the media at the next debate.
Something will break.
His last email says he needs 329 more people to contribute today.
“What exactly should he do to “get” support? Buy us all dinner? Knowing his record, and the kind of man he is,should be sufficient.”
If it was sufficient, it would have happened, but unfortunately, it has not.
“It only requires common sense to get behind Cruz.”
Apparently, it requires more, or he would be leading. I think that is the problem. He isn’t perceived as a leader. Trump is.
Not saying it’s true or false. It appears that way.
Rush won’t commit til the nominee is selected if the past proves anything.
“Honestly, not invisible, stealth - under the radar. When he does appear, it will be too late to counteract him.”
I understand that he is buying time and counting on Trump to go down, but the celebrity is not wearing off. Trump is taking over the primary and the debates. The rest of the pack appear small and insignificant, fighting for scraps.
Cruz, ironically, a decorated debater, is absolutely absent in the debates. Are you sure that Trump will go down at all? Are you sure that Cruz is not inadvertently relegating himself to be a VP candidate? Trump, if nominated, will NOT be choosing Cruz; he will have “the base”, so he will be picking Rubio or Fiorina for the establishment support.
Trump-Fiorina 2016!
I explained Cruz’s vote to you, and others, several times.
Cruz first tried to amend it to give it some actual substance to the agreement, but was rebuffed by McConnell. He then voted against it (cloture), but the agreement carried overwhelmingly.
He then voted for the agreement, in order to enforce it against Obama. He knew Obama would renege on the agreement, and when Obama did renege, Cruz sought to enforce it. Obama was, and is, in violation of the agreement and federal law.
Cruz was given lemons by the GOP-e, and made lemonade. Now, he has Obama dead to rights. You can’t blame Ted Cruz if McConnell and the GOP-e refuse to enforce the law.
I'm still waiting for conservative FR to get behind Cruz. It seems to be Trump, Trump, Trump.
I agree with what rush did say

Terrific, we’re in agreement. Cruz is the most conservative candidate.
For the explanation of that “appearance”, you only need to look at our tabloid/reality-show culture.
Please see Post #25.
I agree with Rush that Cruz is “the most hostile and intolerant toward liberalism?” as the caller phrased it.
That and $2.65 will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks, if you choose a Grande size...
Unfortunately, that alone will not get you the Presidency.
There are a lot more Cruz supporters here than you realize its just that many have gone dark over the constant Trumpgasm. We have considerable conversations going on in FReepmail where we can chat without the endless interruptions.
“For the explanation of that appearance, you only need to look at our tabloid/reality-show culture.”
I agree with you.
Both sides fight on the same battlefield. What is, is. Adjust.
Apparently, it requires more, or he would be leading. I think that is the problem. He isnt perceived as a leader. Trump is.

You’re relying on the current uninformed polls, perhaps wait until the votes are cast. Polls once had Walker as the nominee.
I agree, hands down! There is Cruz and then there is everyone else. Cruz has made enemies of the Democrats and the establishment GOP, he is showing the way to drain the swamp, but too many are more vested in the horse race than the defeat of cronyism and liberalism.
I understand that he is buying time and counting on Trump to go down,

Actually, he’s not. He’s building a formidable grass roots army and organization. He’s a lawyer and a master debater. By training, he methodically and assiduously builds his case. Wait for the trial, then we’’ll see who wins.
“Youre relying on the current uninformed polls, perhaps wait until the votes are cast. Polls once had Walker as the nominee.”
We all have opinions, but I agree that we are a year out and all that matters is resilience at this point and laying groundwork.
Time will tell.
Typically, whoever I prefer has no chance by the time the primaries roll around to PA. The winner is decided already.
Laughing like crazy at the last bumpersticker! Conservative even when you aren’t looking! Rofl!!!
Common sense would be sufficient, but it isn't as 'common' as people seem to think.
It is trumped by the pep-rally mentality which enables people to shell out millions for a stadium and then pay to go see 'their' team.
Rah. Rah. R.a.h....(Raped again, homies)
The leading candidate in the polls has flamboyantly attacked all the right people in all the right ways, ones which involve little thought or cognition beyond a snappy comeback. Hence, he is leading.
The media like him enough to keep him in the forefront, eclipsing others in print and airtime, which keeps the pep-rally going.
“Trumpgasm”
Perfect! I’m going to use that somewhere, sometime.
