The Pope probably told him he wasn’t liberal enough.

Yes , McCarthy deceived and destroyed the Ca Gop to save his seat !
It looks to be K street that fired Bonehead because McCarthy is amoral ruthless animal that can ram thru Amnesty and the H1 Visas flood and Awful TPP treaty before Trump win and stops them ,
This is a K street coup because Trump has them freaked out !

Why is he resigning from congress also?
The office of the Speaker is the only one big enough for a tanning bed.

Before everyone celebrates, my question is that Boehner resigns - so what? There are reported to be somewhere around 80 conservatives in the House, which means there are about 167 non-conservative Republicans.
Can't start a fire without a spark.

No one else is thinking “What’d he do?” Any Hastert scenarios? There is a reason he is resigning suddenly. What could it be? Maybe he is utterly, humiliatingly, drunk and peeing on himself. Or worse.

Was he convicted while listening to the Pope? Were they tears of repentance? Pray for that God will have mercy on us and that Boehner’s replacement will do His will.
To: RummyChick
Boehner would definitely need Nancy's help to hold his Speaker's seat.
There is probably so many drunk-cards to be played as well.

k street or no.
BTW...Louie Golmert would be awesome.

Good. Boehner started out as a reasonably solid conservative but as he advanced in the party leadership he forgot why he was elected in the first place and put the interests of the party and it's donors above all else. The good of his country and of his district were not his priority and now he's paying the piper.
I'd say that this should be a lesson to the rest of the party leadership but it won't be. I predict that they'll harden their stance against the conservative base and plow forward.

Probably did. I’m guessing the Pope got a whiff of his porous-oozing 80 proof cologne and told him he really needs a 12 step program and some bilirubin light bulbs in his tanning bed.

We can take satisfaction in seeing the alky turd leave, but realistically, we can expect more of the same.
