But in a sign of Mr. Bushs struggle to catch fire with the Republican grass roots, he addressed a half-empty room Thursday afternoon at a community recreation center here.

I would bet he gets the nomination (and then loses to whatever Dem). We live in a plutocracy now—but it’s not even a Trump-style plutocracy. It’s more of a corporatocracy.

Community recreation center makes me think of the buildings at the mobile home park or apartment community or civic center that people rent for birthday parties and wedding receptions.

Maybe ¡JEB! should solicit donations at the local Western Union on a Friday afternoon. Plenty of mexicans there to show their support for el presidente.

Jeb remains flat after the debate. He did a little better, but he has nowhere to go but “up”, since he can’t beat being a bore. I don’t think he can dig out of who he is, enough to gain ANY ground.

It is a really unusual piece of music. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard anything else quite like it.
I also thought it was really creepy in that movie Insidious.
