I agree with you, Scott Walker is a very remarkable man and I do not understand the bashing he gets from some people on this very forum. I think this is not his time, but I think he would be a wonderful president and I hope this will happen some day.
You dodged the part about Walker being a career politician.
Again, what successful business has he ever ran?
Trump hasn’t held a political office, so, no he hasn’t had to bust a Union, in any one state.
Trump is against CommieCore and attended a conservative military school and an one of the very best business schools, in the country. He sees full well the detrimental effects leftist education is having on our nation.
While Trump’s comment regarding Kim Davis/putting Christians in jail was that existing laws had to be followed, here’s Walker’s “much tougher” response....
....Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin appeared less clear on his position.....
Its a balance that youve got to have in America between the laws that are out there, but ultimately ensuring the Constitution is upheld. I read that the Constitution is very clear, that people have the freedom of religion. That means you have the freedom to practice your religious beliefs out there.....
Huh?
Again, Trump has clearly stated he is pro-life and for defunding PP.
And, as mentioned before, he’s not a career politician. He’s also standing up for ALL of the values that most of us here have considered to be conservative.
Maybe that’s why Trump’s polling as high as he is, and Walker, well....we know where Walker is polling. No need to rub that in.
It came up my first try.
Be sure you’ve checked “match all words.”
The GOP nomination is Trump’s to lose. Unless he commits an unforced error he’s going to be the next President of the United States.
Trump is a real estate developer.
He builds buildings. Using union labor. He is fine with that. And it’s his money, so he can pay whoever he wants whatever they want. But you cannot imply that he hasn’t had involvement with unions.
Trump’s position on STATE worker Kim Davis ignores the fact that she was obeying STATE law. He was ready to throw her and her religious beliefs to the wolves over a FEDERAL judicial ruling of which no FEDERAL law has been established. His position shows a lack of respect for states rights and encourages judicial activism. It also ignores that Justice Kennedy’s exception to his “yes” vote. At least Walker recognizes that the First Amendment has precedent.
If you’d like, I can dig up an entire list of Trump’s previous positions on abortion, homosexuality, taxation, eminent domain, etc. But other Freepers have done that and I’m sure you’ve seen them.
So how do you show a conservative position when you have a deep liberal foundation? Tell conservatives what they want to hear, and say it with confidence. A third of them are bound to pee in their pants with excitement.
Walker may be difficult to elect on a Federal level, but Trump isn’t the answer.
Good grief....you refuse to answer my question.
What successful business(es) has Walker EVER ran?
ANSWER: NONE
Because he’s a CAREER POLITICIAN.
The American people are SICK AND TIRED of career politicians....poll numbers are shouting this, loud and clear.
Trump has had no choice but to deal with unions. Like you said, he’s a real estate developer in several UNION ran states.
Trump’s position on Kim Davis was clear. That laws have to be followed. Pretty much the same thing Walker said.
Only you are pretending that it is a question. Sounds more like a statement with a "?" at the end. But let's try that one on in reverse:
Did Trump ever support abortion?
Did Trump ever give money to Hillary Clinton's campaign?
Does Trump approve of the Kelo decision?
ANSWER ME DAMMIT!!!!
Trumps position on Kim Davis was clear. That laws have to be followed.
Yes. That is Trump's position. Which law though? The active Kentucky law that prohibits gay "marriage", the "law" that the judicial branch wrote, or the non-existent federal law?
Pretty much the same thing Walker said.
Um, no.
While Walker knocked down the unions which benefited the Chamber of Commerce and big business, he pushed people toward receiving gov't benefits due to the lower wages some of these people now receive...In some areas I'm sure there are numbers who now qualify for food stamps and Medicaid...So it's hard to say if his move saved the taxpayers any money...
45% of the voting age people in Wisconsin did not vote in the last election...Those are people who are now flocking to Trump...Trump wants to bring good paying jobs back to the U.S...I'm surprised Trump's numbers are not at 80%...
