Sorry if this was already posted. I searched but didn't find it.

Quote from the article...“He’s really tanked,” said Dennis Gardiner, 53, an auditor from Des Moines who is uncommitted. “He’s a politician, and the rest of us are very tired of seeing nothing get done.”

Which is a rather amusing quote because as a politician here in WI he’s gotten a tremendous amount done...oh well.

It is odd that people are ignoring Scott Walker who has been tested not only by the Wisconsin liberal establishment, but by national liberals was well.

Living in neighboring MN, gave us all a great seat to watch how opponents were bussed in from Chicago, the eastern states, etc. He was put through the wringer up here. Donald Trump, OTOH, gets testy when someone looks at him cross-eyed. It is Trump’s biggest weakness. It is why I am still reluctant to totally endorse him.

I do wish Scott Walker would step forward and be more visible in his anti-DC [i.e. BIG government] speeches. This is an election which is very much an us vs them, and ‘them’ is the DC establishment who makes laws that they do not need to follow, and live high off of our taxes.

Yes, he is one of the few who have battled like we all say we want our politicians to battle. He and his family have really been put through a withering onslaught for years now, but he has never wavered off the bulls-eye of busting the utterly corrupt unions.

Here comes Trump, who has never been tested for his conservative bonafides, sucking all the air out of the room and confusing this uninformed voter with his bluster.

It's comical, as long as you don't think too much about the consequences.

And therein lies the problem with several of the candidates who tend to have some strong points in their own right, but are seen as part of the problem, and actually are part of the problem with past positions and votes on contentious issues.

Amntn:

With all due respect to Politico (none whatsoever) in its judgment on conservatives like Walker, Scott Walker is the governor of the state to my immediate north and he has been the very best conservative governor of any state in my lengthy lifetime. He has governed Wisconsin more conservatively than Ronaldus Maximus governed California. I do not deny that Walker's POTUS campaign has been quite lackluster and I have every hope that he will turn it around and soon.

Wisconsin, courtesy of Walker, has immense piles of liberal political corpses rotting in its gutters. DC and the US desperately need the same treatment. Anyone supporting Trump as a temper tantrum against McConnell, Boehner and mealy-mouthed lying liberals generally should take a hard look at the real thing in Scott Walker who has actually performed with excellence in office.

Scott Walker is, by far, a better leader then Donald Trump.
And I have my doubts that Trump is even a republican.

Walker has a lot of significant accomplishments in Wisconsin. So, the claim by Dennis Gardiner (in the article) that Walker isn’t getting anything done is a sign that Mr. Gardiner is a low information voter and should be ignored.

Unfortunately...none of that matters if Walker cannot get elected. Walker was very weak in the debates and I have doubts that he would do well in a debate with Clinton or Sanders.

Walker's closeness to Reince Priebus and Paul Ryan concerns me.

They were described in an early article as "political soul-mates". Add to that his PAC's hiring of Brad Dayspring really set off the alarm.

At least we know Trump isn't in the pocket of anyone else.

Walker has big GOP majorities in WI. Not difficult to get things done. He is a good guy and should stay in Wisconsin for a while longer. Maybe for Baldwins Senate seat in 2018 the try for Pres in 2024. By then he should be ready for national prime time.

What successful business has Walker ran?

Oh wait....looks like he's mostly a career politician.....

Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Walker was raised in Iowa and in Delavan, Wisconsin, before attending Marquette University. He left Marquette before graduating to take a full-time job with the American Red Cross. Walker was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1992, representing a district in western Milwaukee County. In 2002, Walker was elected County Executive in a special election following the resignation of F. Thomas Ament; he was elected for a full term in 2004 and was reelected in 2008, defeating state Senator Lena Taylor.

Walker launched a campaign for Governor of Wisconsin in 2006 and ran again in 2010, defeating Democrat Tom Barrett in the general election......

And I have my doubts that Trump is even a republican.

What wall did Walker want to build, and illegals did he want to deport, before he didn't want to?

>Sigh<.

WE the voting Americans are so tired of ‘politicans’

We want someone new, fresh, not bought and paid for, that will tell things like it is, will not be afraid of standing up to Mexico, China, Japan, Russia, Iran, Syria, illegal immigration, high taxes, incompetent healthcare, senators and house representatives that are not doing anything...

We are TIRED of it, and WE are going to run this national election, not the GOPee, not the media, not the talking heads, not the RINOs, not the RATS, WE the American legal voter, that’s who is running this election...

Get behind us or get left in our dust, because WE are doing this, this time!!!

What successful business has Walker ran?

What union has Trump busted?
Has Trump done anything to turn back the indoctrination camps that some call state universities?
How does Trump feel about homosexuals putting Christians in jail for their beliefs?

What wall did Walker want to build, and illegals did he want to deport, before he didn't want to?

Trump and abortion...then and now?
Trump and Hillary Clinton's ability to lead...then and now?
Trump as a democrat...then and now?

Jeepers, I can't believe you even wanted to compare "then and now" with Trump.

"When Trump finally arrived at the event, an hour or so after he was expected, he was hard to hear too — but it didn’t matter, because he was drowned out by a shrieking mob that surged toward him when he arrived, causing attendees to fall into each other and setting off a car alarm in the frenzy. Anti-Trump protestors had been waiting to take him on for hours, but they couldn’t break through the packed crowd."

LOL, gotta love it! (emphasis mine)

They grew up a stones throw from each other and Ryan and Walker worked at the same McDonalds.

But thank you concern troll.

They’re all from Wisconsin.

Walker could have a good effect on them.

Let him work his magic.

Thanks.

As I noted in my first post, I searched since it was dated 9/12 but it didn’t come up.
