business (and personal) expenses offset earnings when you file to prove that you can keep whatever money is left over. if you spend more money in this scenario you have less money unless you make for in earnings. it’s a completely corrupt system.

Never thought of it that way.
Perhaps it does create an emotional tie.
i think Trump is managing to do that anyway.
