I think you are not thinking about how debates are done. They will ask various questions on leaders of various factions within a group and she will know them. Trump will look like a deer in headlights. It has nothing to do with performance but what she knows.

You’re right but Trump didn’t congratulate him. This kid tweeted that his “dad”is thinking of voting for Trump. And Trump answered “Great”. That’s the entire non story.

1. Where was the trickery?
2. How did the author know that congratulating the guy was a mistake?
3. Since when is congratulating someone (even an Obama-like jackarse)
wrong?

It is. She knows names of various leaders and what they do. That wins debates. Sorry but you must be looking at it differently. Debates are questions not actions.

All he has to do is call her a traitor, which she is, to put an end to THAT debate. He’s a genius at turning questions into attacks - and he’s got plenty of ammunition with that traitor.

If you don’t like Trump, don’t support him. But don’t stoop to convincing us that Hillary is some kind of “foreign policy expert”. That’s just asinine.

Don't kid yourself. Goldberg and the rest of NRO are completely in the pockets of the GOPe. They roll out FOUR hit pieces a day, one by Goldberg, one by Geraghty, one by Cost, and one by York.

Rush's response to this was precisely accurate: what have all these "conservatives" that NRO insisted we support gotten us?

I've written as extensively about this as Goldberg has, and, I think, more accurately. We have moved away from ideologically driven elections. Obama was NOT an ideological vote. He was purely and overwhelmingly (for different reasons by different races) a racial vote.

Trump is not conservative by a litmus test of SUPPOSEDLY conservative positions. But those don't matter any more because except for the pundits, no "conservative" actually DOES anything.

So I have suggested (as has Rush and Mark Steyn, who are far more insightful on this than Goldberg or the NRO crowd) that if in fact Trump builds the wall, he will have achieved more "conservative" goals in one year than all the conservatives put together in the last 10. If he is able to open up (i.e., make "free" trade indeed free) trade with China and Japan, he would have achieved twice as many conservative "goals" as all the conservatives.

The demise of ideology was actually first seen in the 1828 election with Jackson (who, ironically ran on the new, TOTALLY ideological party, but which did not run its election on ideology). TR pretty much ran a post-ideological campaign in 1904. And I think we'll see our third one here.

Well, like most freepers, I simply read the headline. We need to get better headlines! And you’re right, it’s a non-story.

So would you rather go for one of the pro-amnesty/open borders candidates?

With pretty much 60% support for the labour Party, don’t count on the demise theory.

Remember people here were hoping the Democrats would pick radical Pelosi as House Speaker because it would turn voters off. Only it didn’t. Radical leaders just further radicalize their party and THEN the whole country.

I do not mean to give Pelosi too much credit for the disaster that has happened since her rise. That’s just an example of the trend of radicalism. My observation is that a radical rises as a symptom of where things are trending. If you do not fight hard against it now, it will consume more and more ground.

This is very bad.

“You know that is what they will focus on because that is Clinton’s strong suit.”

You have to be kidding. But assuming you aren’t, lets say Hillary knows the name of the dog catcher in Upper Volta, Trump could dissect her without even breaking a sweat. All he would do is point out her expertise must have done her very little good by pointing to everything shes touched. Then he could tell her she “you’re fired”.

Hillary is fake and Trump is real. That’s his playground.

“It is. She knows names of various leaders and what they do.”

Takes about an hour’s time of study with a summary guide. Also, as a complete failure as Secretary of State, she may want to dodge that part of her resume.

“Trump isn’t a conservative.

Jonah Goldberg made that point and was attacked by Freepers for it.

Conservatives who support Trump should know he’s not a movement man and will never be.”

You’re probably right about Trump not being a conservative deep down. But I think we’re all at the point right now where certain issues like abortion and gay marriage are on the back burner. The immigration crisis is #1 on the minds of America, and Trump is perceived as the only one who can confront the issue in a meaningful way. And he’s going to have to bust some heads to get it done.

You’re right. Trump and Corbyn have much in common. Trump should be happy for him.

You know that is what they will focus on because that is Clinton’s strong suit.

Is your dislike of Trump so strong that it causes you to make ridiculous statements?

“No. she will be able to throw out names that trump will look at her puzzled by who they are.”

And nobody cares. No real American knows the jibberish name of every nutty middle easterner. And It only matters if everyone in the audience knows and he doesn’t.

Then he will point to things he’s accomplished all over the world, and turn and ask what she has accomplished.... anywhere. Game over.

Its a disqualification for office to be personal friends with all these foreign leaders. ESPECIALLY moslem ones. It indicated member in good standing to the new world order.

Hey, what happened to that leftist/Soros thread you posted yesterday? You know, the one about Trump supposedly embarrassing himself (except that he didn’t)? I’m looking around for it, and can’t find it anywhere.
