That’s funny. I don’t recall reading about how many hours they stood there in the senate chamber reading from a phone book. This is yet another fake ‘filibuster’ engineered by the ruling party to enforce its wishes.

The only thing that has ever stood between us and tyranny has been the character of those who swear the oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.

This suicidal “deal” is one more proof, as if we needed any more proof, that today our elected “representatives” scorn our Constitution and their oaths. They have no principles, and no character.

“Let it simply be asked, ‘Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths...?”

things are happening as the Bible foretold thousands of years ago-———God rules in the affairs of men and He will not be mocked as the world has done for centuries-—trouble is becoming greater and closer faster and faster until the Lord decides it is time to end this wicked, evil world-—laugh if you will but we may well live the days of calamity bearing down-—if not us, your children and grandchildren will live during worse times than today—

“This is what the Republican GOPe wanted because if they stopped it they feared that when the Iranians get the bomb that it would be blamed on the GOP.”

That is laughable.

I have heard that line before. No offense, but it is nonsense. It is as nonsensical as saying that Obama surrendered to obtain the Irania deal (he got what he WANTED for Iran), that the Corker bill was the best strategy (Corker and the Republicans WANTED to give Obama what he wants), that Obama cares for his legacy in the United States (he cares for his legacy in the MUSLIM world).

Cruz and Rubio voted for the Corker amendment. And, it is puzzling what Cruz is saying about the Corker bill now. What he says is true. He is running against his own vote.

“And I heard that Cruz voted for this setup. Am I right?”

Every Republican senator voted for it with the exception of Cotton of Arkansas.

“...the GOPe boobs are going to get blamed anyone...”

It is in fact a Republican baby. They own this lock, stock, and barrel.

“So, yes, Ted voted for the Corker Amendment, based on lies and promises he was given.”

Cruz has already used that excuse over TPA.

“The ‘deal’ will not stand.”

As I have always maintained, the object of all this for Obama is to get the Iranian sanctions lifted. Let the devil take the hindermost.

We should be long past the point of giving POS politicians opportunities to excuse their lack of action. If they can’t get it done or are easily outsmarted by the opposition they should be fired. Cruz talks a good game but since becoming my senator from the great state of Texas he has accomplished absutely zero. Lots of noise but no action. Obama just keeps on winning.

I respect Cruz trying to attach amendments to Corker’s piece of crap. He should have voted against it though. That vote is indefensible.
