Well said!!
What a POS this guy is - how in Hell did he ever become the majority leader? He’s no more a leader than Mr. Rodgers is a street thug.
This douche nozzle is tops on my list to be primaried after Corker. I cannot stand these people - to them it is more important to be friendly and cooperative with the Dems, than to stand up for America and to also do what they were elected to do in the first place: to stand up to and STOP Obama.
FUMM!!! If/when people die because of Iranian terrorism and nukes, YOU WILL HAVE BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS! I repeat: FUMM!!
Some how you can bet black mail was involved or McWeasals checking account just got a little bigger. He’s a crooks crook.
Guess I don't see anytime as a good time for the Senate to relinquish their constitutional authority to approve treaties. We are where we are today because they did.
yeah, right
Mitch is sick with worry that something will derail the Iran Nuclear Treaty from being approved. He’s made a deal with the Devil and he isn’t about to turn back now.
Everyone is trying to figure out why our so called leaders are so hell bent on approving this deal.
Everyone is trying to figure out what “they” have that can be used against them or how much in bribes they’re in for.
Why isn’t anyone considering the possibility that the Iranians already have one or more bombs, the means of delivery and an unpreventable threat to use them against the US or Israel if we don’t remove the sanctions and return their frozen assets?
We’ve been hearing for 15 years that they were “on the threshold” of obtaining a nuke, so why isn’t anyone wondering if maybe they already have? It’s no secret that the scenario of a ship launched nuke off the coast is plausible and could be easily done. Even if the means of delivery isn’t on a missile, does anyone here think they couldn’t have found a way to smuggle one into the country?
I really can’t think of any other logical reason why our government would allow themselves to be bullied this way unless it’s because they figure it’s easier than a preemptive strike with the aim of regime change in Iran and it lets them continue kicking the can down the road for “the next guy” to deal with.
If you think the Assaholah Khameini and his mullahs are afraid of being attacked and annihilated, think again. They’re the ones that are convinced that only through Armageddon can their twelfth imam return, and I’m quite certain the regime leaders over there have very safe and secure bomb shelters to hide in.
You make excellent and plausible points; however, I would think that Israel would know if Iran already had deliverable nuclear. They are vocally against this agreement, which makes me think they do not believe Iran has the capability now.
Whatcha think?
I really don’t have a great answer to your question.
Is it possible that Israel has held off this long under threat of retaliation by US if they act against Iran preemptively, even with the knowledge that Iran has gotten the bomb?
Israel has to be wary of striking Iran first. World opinion would certainly be against them if they strike first. It seems that only Israel and the US have been out front saying “we will never allow Iran to get the bomb”. It was one thing when Israel could depend on US as a reliable ally, but beside that, who else did they have that would stand with them? Australia and Canada? That’s nice, but without the US alongside, they’re not exactly world powers.
China and Russia don’t appear to be all that concerned. I wouldn’t be surprised if the both of them haven’t told Israel to stand down under threat of siding with Iran against Israel if they strike them first.
Maybe Iran has used the fear of kicking off WW III to buy them enough time to get their nukes and now that they have them, what can be done about it? Maybe they’ve promised that they won’t use them if we give them their money back. They need it to fund their terror operations, you know.
Whatever the reality of the situation is, Iran has played the rest of the world for chumps, and if this could be considered a game, they won.
Paraphrasing Mark Steyn, “John Kerry negotiating with Iran is like a blind man playing scrabble with gypsies”.
You make very good points, again.
My reasoned and considered opinion is we are in a $hitload of trouble. The person in the WH has definitely exacerbated the problems.
My biggest regret is that I didn’t see this thread before it reached it’s end of life, and you and I are the only one’s left here.
