I witness the phenomenon I mentioned every single day.
Like termites who flee when there’s no more wood to eat.
ahhhh....the “snowbird”....
You know those lights were bright on Broadway-
But that was so many years ago...
Before we all lived here in Florida-
Before the Mafia took over Mexico.
There are not many who remember-
They say a handful still survive...
To tell the world about...
The way the lights went out,
And keep the memory alive....

You’re presuming that those moving are liberals. Who do think is more likely to move to a red state, an unproductive lib or a taxpaying productive conservative?
I’d say the latter makes up most of the movers
I witness the phenomenon I mentioned every single day.
The current government of the Commonwealth in which I have resided for virtually my entire life is a lib-dem-prog Yankee carpetbagger.
Darn that "autocorrect". Darn it to heck!
...and my failure to proofread, too.
Well, then I witness the opposite in the red state I reside. For every numbskulled lib that moves here, many more conservatives arrive. Only immigration keeps it from being a landslide.
these IMO are mostly retired govt workers....they got their obscene govt pension after a hard, hard 20-30 yrs of “public service” and are not cashing in on lower taxed states so they can really enjoy their “winnings”.
> It’s funny - I never found the average Californian to be a jerk at all. They are either politically indifferent or just have no clue how their voting choices affect their economy and quality of life.
I don’t really place Californians into the Yank category. The Northern half is completely different type of state than the Southern half per my own experience. The only type I have a hard time getting along with there are the liberals and the hippies. Its really different than most other states.
I meant to say is that they made their states BLUE and allowed their freedoms to be wrecked.... Sorry, don’t want blue states down South.
