We were asked if we wanted testing and I was only 27 when I had my daughter. I said “Why? Nothing would stop me from having this baby”. My husband agreed. Even the doctor agreed. But he said he was obligated to offer the tests. And he worked for a Catholic hospital.

Hmmm, actually, when you let him (the father you don;t even mention in the story, what happened to him?) stick his thing-a-dilly inside your whoo-ha, that is exactly what you are signing up for. If you can't handle the risks, then don't have the sex.
