Something about “he who denies Me?” No, mouth confession is essential. Only God knows what is in the heart but it has to start with the mouth.

You're dodging now. You cited Trump's morals or lack thereof, yet I have proven to you that Lincoln did NOT say what, at least, Trump has said. Lincoln was NOT a Christian as of 1862. He said so. Was Lincoln lying? You may not believe Trump, but do you believe Lincoln?
And the original point was that God raises up whom He pleases, and they don't fit our models very often, which was PRECISELY why he raised up a non-Christian, Lincoln, in our most trying time. Because He knew Lincoln's heart. But you think you know a man's heart better than Him.
Interesting.

Only God knows what is in the heart but it has to start with the mouth. With his mouth, Donald Trump has told us that he's never done anything that required him to ask God for His forgiveness.
Lincoln proved his mettle. All Trump has done has talk about how great he is, and push people's buttons.
As I originally said, he's quite obviously clueless about the moral basis of the country, and the reason America has been falling from its greatness.
If you have no clue what's wrong, you can't possibly fix it.

Lincoln’s not running.
And “The Donald” is no Lincoln.
It’s a sign of the delusion associated with Trump that you could possibly think that he is.

America, and everything that IS great about her, is compromised.
Trump knows this and is the ONLY one with the fortitude and magnitude to take on those who are doing their d@#nedest to destroy us .
Others have properly schooled you, on this, so I won’t bother.

And it's another dodge. You keep getting further and further from the argument.
And Trump is not running. He's winning.

And I think he is quite clued as to what's wrong with the country and that you are clueless about him, because you presume to know more than God.
Good to know. Keep tryin that.

I presume no such thing.
It’s just that if someone is being held forth as a potential Lincoln, or a Solomon, or a Moses, or a David, or a Paul, or some such, I’d like to see some evidence that they’re on that sort of path. So far, his own words say the exact opposite.
But it’s obvious that you’re not going to be shaken from your delusion..
So, have a nice day, and let me know when Trump ever shows some real sign that he actually knows what ails the republic.

"Judge Douglas ought to remember when he is endeavoring to force this policy upon the American people that while he is put up in that way a good many are not. He ought to remember that there was once in this country a man by the name of Thomas Jefferson, supposed to be a Democrat -- a man whose principles and policy are not very prevalent amongst Democrats to-day, it is true; but that man did not take exactly this view of the insignificance of the element of slavery which our friend Judge Douglas does. In contemplation of this thing, we all know he was led to exclaim, "I tremble for my country when I remember that God is just!" We know how he looked upon it when he thus expressed himself. There was danger to this country -- danger of the avenging justice of God in that little unimportant popular sovereignty question of Judge Douglas. He supposed there was a question of God's eternal justice wrapped up in the enslaving of any race of men, or any man, and that those who did so braved the arm of Jehovah -- that when a nation thus dared the Almighty every friend of that nation had cause to dread His wrath. Choose ye between Jefferson and Douglas as to what is the true view of this element among us."
-- Abraham Lincoln, Speech at Columbus, Ohio, on September 16, 1859 (CWAL III:410)
