Donald Trump is like the old EF Hutton commercial- when he speaks, everyone listens. No, everybody watches. There's a difference. There's a lot to see but so far very little of substance worth listening to.

While the celebrity aspect helps, I prefer to think that many of our voters are smarter than that, but choose Trump because:
- Trade policy really does matter.
- He's trusted to help the economy.
- Immigration really is an issue.
- Not backing down to the Politically Correct bullies is important.
- Someone who demands respect and isn't bowing to all the foreign leaders is needed.

A leader who is relentless on the greatness of America vs. a leader who is relentless on destroying America.
Great contrasts which more clearly align Washington politics as practiced on the populus in full clear display. Even the media can't put lipstick on all those pigs Trump is pulling out of the barn.

If any candidate whether it’s Walker, Rubio, etc had come out with strong ideas like Trump he / she too would be in the lead. It’s not that it’s Trump that’s attractive to people it’s his passion, his ideas, his candor. The people want a leader that’s going to undue these runaway last 2 terms of that booger in the White House.

Its not that its Trump thats attractive to people its his passion, his ideas, his candor. Nah, it's because I worship Trump, I'm ignorant, and I'm gullible.
Heck, I've even started writing cancelled checks to democrats ;)

So the man is found to be ‘outrageous’ Perhaps this is good, the more ‘outrageous’ he might be -the more he endears himself to the common man who daily beats his head against the wall attempting to get just get by in life, asking for nothing and receiving everything he asks for. TRUMP is a sign of the times, a man who doesn’t seem to care for any individual who might stand in the way as he attempts his journey to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. That we allowed our beloved country to dissolve so swiftly once corrosion began we might also look within our selves and find answers as to how we might help accomplish this on an individual basis. GOAL: MAKR AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!

People that constantly moan about Trump should be hounding their prefered choice to start sounding more like him.
Nah! Just post whiny articles all day on FR. Much easier!
To: lilypad
Disagree. Trump had many good points but the combination of his bluntness and his celebrity status is what started the roll he’s on. Now, everyone’s just waiting to see what he’ll say next. Will he go after Hillary? Jeb? Biden? Sanders? We eagerly await it.
Haven’t heard anything I’ve disagreed with yet.

Read his 15 books. You want substance, you’ll get substance. Just make the effort rather than grousing about the alleged lack of it.
