It serves him and them right.
Good place for him. No one will watch him there.
Yeah - Juan looks as dump and dirt defending liberalism sometimes.
Probably has it in his contact to bash Trump, Cruz and the T.E.A. Party daily.
>>Wow. I didnt know Bob was decent on any issue. And this is part of why Fox terminated him?
Beckel is an old-school Democrat and not the typical mindless Progressive shill that we have today. He had to go because he represented a little bit of common sense on the Democrat side and that didn’t play into the GOP vs Democrat meme that they use to convince us that those two are the only choice.
I think he is a jerk.
“but Beckel had entered rehab therapy in April, reportedly for an addiction to prescription pain medication..”
They gonna hammer him like they tried to do to Rush?
Whatever one thinks about Bob, he is the only liberal who truly understands the malevolence of Islam. I rather watched him on Fox than Juan Williams.
He was more tolerable on The Five than Geraldo or Juan.
He’ll feel at home there.
Can’t this moron find a job somewhere?
Do it anyway so we can all have a big laugh.
Bring back Beckel to The Five!!!! Juan and Whorealdo are UNWATCHABLE!!!! The Liberal of the day sucks up HALF of the talk!!! YUK!
I must be in the minority. I like him. Loathe his politics. Like him.
It takes a lot to offend me-Beckel never did. Not sure if that says more about him or me.
Christopher Hitchens was good for that as well.
Good observation. I often wonder what old George McGovern would have thought of the Obamas, Clintons, and their ilk. George would have likely passed as a GOPe in this day and time.
You’re correct.
Of course that assumes he wouldn’t “evolve”.
Even Caliph Baraq was opposed to gay marriage up to 2012.
My grandfather was a well-connected Democrat. He had left me a book containing the Wit and Wisdom of Adelai Stevenson.
Stevenson was considered quite progressive and a “pink” at the time. But sitting here reading that book decades later he comes across sounding like a typical middle-of-the-road Republican today.
THAT is how far left the spectrum has shifted.
I think Fox has shown great patience with its talent. They took back Greg Jarrett after his rehab. I believe in second chances for people with this kind of problem.
