A Response to Free Republic Trump Critics
Vanity

Posted on 08/31/2015 12:43:37 AM PDT by Behind the Blue Wall

Why Trump?

1. Illegal immigration is the only issue; if it's not stopped soon, America will become like California -- a demographic one-party state.

2. Politics is about name-recognition and none of the other candidates besides Trump has the name recognition to challenge Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton.

Therefore, Trump is the only candidate with a chance to win who has promised to do the only thing that matters.

He’s like the man in the viper den who can see only the pretty rocks.

VERY WELL PUT, dear brother in Christ!

He seems to have a perpetual "deer-in-the-headlights" look....

Plus, not only does he NOT speak about "the lost jobs, lower wages, criminal gangs, rapists, murderers, and drug cartel members," but he also does NOT speak of the cultural dilution, the undermining of the historic American cultural order (premised in the United States Constitution, and the People who continue to breath life into it by their undivided allegiance, loyalty, to it) that starts with "anchor babies," then commences to the subsequent "chain migration" that inevitably follows, unto the generations.

As Chesterton would put it, Jeb! is "a man without a chest." And on the basis of his policy prescriptions that I've seen so far, he is also "a man without a mind"....

People can and do change. Once Obama’s destruction of America got underway in earnest (which took a couple of years; he didn’t start out by fully revealing his anti-Americanism, but rather revealed it a piece at a time over the course of his terms) people with the capacity to wake up did so. Trump published his book, Time to get Tough: Making America #1 Again, in 2011. It’s basically the platform he’s running on, and there isn’t a liberal line in it.

I’ve heard that future liabilities make it over a hundred trillion but I don’t recall the details.

Such a good point, Sister, that I need to remember it. At one time, there was an expectation of assimilation. Now there is an expectation of diversification. Let's all learn Spanish. I don't mind doing that on my own, but I don't want it to be because we've become a divided nation.

Good point about John Roberts.

Like I mentioned earlier, Trump admitted some of his views are those of a Democrat. That was at the end of July. One poster said it was “ancient history”, LOL.

Get tough by raising TAXES and imposing Tariffs.. using Executive Orders...
Thats WHAT LIBERALs “ DO “....

When your eyes ROLL back into position facing forward..
READ It again..

And theres this little thing called Congress..

The absolute last thing the federal givernment NEEDS is MORE money.. scope or Power.. over the States..
because THATS WHAT.... Democrats DO...

You seem to be looking at TRUMP thru RINO colored glasses..

It’s up to God to judge our salvation.

Otherwise, Scripture tells us to judge things righteously.

Even the “don’t judge” passage liberals attempt to misuse is an instruction on HOW to judge (i.e., do so only if you are not engaged in the sin you want to judge. If you are, stop doing it, then go ahead).

Again, you cannot be a functioning Christian without judging right from wrong.

Cruz’s response to Trump is the same as his response to his opponents in the Texas Senate race. He finds it more productive to avoid stupid fights and instead concentrate on what he can offer.

FYI, when Cruz began that race, his support in the state was, by some counts, -1, according to the margin of error. He was told by everyone he had no prayer of winning.

But I’m sure you knew that, right? Being a former Cruz supporter...

Yeah, and I heard on the news this morning that his unfavorable rating is 59.%

At this stage a few tens of Trillions either way, is chump change..

** by the way A Trillion is A THOUSAND BILLION.. and a BILLION is a thousand MILLION.. and 10 Trillion is 10,000 BILLION.. and 100 trillion is 100,000 BILLION.. which is a MILLION-MILLION

you know.. DOLLARS..

Yep, you’re right about Jeb, but then I have no use for liberals period, and that includes Trump.

Finally, can you direct me to the ACTUAL PLAN to close the border and deport all of the illegals? Keep in mind that there will be at most four years, but more likely two, in order to accomplish this.
.............................................................
So, you’re “directing” me to a paper that Trump hasn’t actually released yet?
..............................................................

YOU wrote both of the above, not me. In the first you ask to be directed. In the second you sarcastically accuse me of directing you to a paper not yet released. Now that is awfully funny, since a lot of people have read it and you can find it easily on the web. As for Duncan Hunter, I was in contact with him several times years ago re: the Armed Services Committee. His son has since replaced him, a fine man. The collapse of California is certainly partly due to the fact it is becoming little Mexico. That’s why my family, and many others left for places where English is still spoken.
As far as the time it would take to build a wall or deport the illegals, I will remind you it took little time once the decision was made to create the Space Program and put a man on the moon. Mexico is not on the moon. It is right next door. And yes, if Trump says he will build the wall, he will build it.
Some people like you are so negative you can’t believe anything that hasn’t already been proven and accomplished. Such people have names.
As far as requiring a “cooperative GOP Congress and a very accommodating Supreme Court, those “problems” can be solved as well.Obama had a pen and telephone, which to my knowledge will remain the property of the White House unless he tries to rip them off like Hillery and Bill did the furniture.
As far as me being “bold” for a “newbie,” I am not a squeamish scardy cat who thinks the sky is falling if someone proposes something out of the ordinary, or threatens me. The wall CAN be built, and WILL be built if Trump is elected. Then, perhaps you will come to realize how much of our Sovereignty we will regain. Open Borders is the demand of the One World Order gang. Take a look to see the problems it has caused in Europe.

If you don’t mean something, don’t say it.

‘Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said “I want to have middle income pay less, and I want to have even upper middle income, and even in some cases, people that are pretty wealthy, pay less,” and “I’m not looking to increase taxes,” but criticized “hedge fund guys” who are “paying very little tax” or “no tax,” should “pay some tax” on Tuesday’s “Sean Hannity Show.”’

If Trump is so liberal, why has Cruz praised him so often and so expensively?

A source would be too much trouble, I take it. Perhaps it was Karl Rove?

Cruz praised him expensively? What did it cost him?

You know, another Freeper told me it was a waste of time with you. He was right. I’m not going to bother posting the same answer for the third or fourth time.

Where did you ever get the far fetched idea Trump would have to sell off his holdings, etc??? Trump has a well brought up family who can easily take the reins of his assets. No problem. I am certain he has prepared them to step in his shoes if they wanted to. You’re delusional to even suggest he’d have to divest himself of his wealth.

He’s already disclosed his finances.
