No, Trey Gowdy has NOT been "blackmailed into silence" but there is only so much one can do, even as a chairman of a Congressional committee when the House Speaker and his minions have already sold out to Obama and this illicit regime. Trey has the position and title (committee chairman), and he IS a former federal prosecutor but he doesn't have any true prosecutorial power as if he were still working for the federal DOJ.
