One’s view on the Trump campaign depends very largely on one’s view of larger affairs.
Is it about nothing but Trump? Or is it (at all) about the energy of a larger movement that Trump has uncorked?
Trump is willful and impetuous and vain. But is he utterly stupid, unable to learn and adapt? I’d think maybe not, since he has managed to put together a $9 billion empire even after failing twice.
Rush got rattled and defensive. What’s more, he tried to obfuscate w/the football coach nonsense. Something is going on. Trump has something on Rush. There’s more to the story.
I support Ted Cruz, who was studying and memorizing the Constitution at the age of 14, and has been nothing but a staunch fighter for Constitutional rights & against the establishment since then.
My question to you would be why some of you Trump fans become unhinged and hysterical at criticism of your boy?
"Are you RNC trolls ?"
Guess I'm outed, because only an RNC troll wouldn't fawn over Trump, right?
"Or shut up since your contribute nothing !"
Not going to happen, grandpa.
Now go have a warm drink and lie down.
I like Cruz, Walker and Carson. They’re conservative.
Donald Trump is Jeb Bush on steroids.
Well Cruz doesn’t criticize Trump...
Yet another example of a Trump supporter who can’t deal with criticism of his candidate without a meltdown.
Vague?
You mean like “replace Obamacare with something terrific?” That kind of vague?
Trump is a liberal, his past is liberal, and only a couple of weeks ago he admitted on “Morning Joe” that some of his positions are those of a Democrat. Now you can rationalize your desire to vote for a Democrat by pulling out the “purity” card...I really don’t care.
Bottom line, it’s never going to happen in this house.
I’m analyzing Trump.
He's literally explained his plan already in great detail, on multiple occasions, even at the debate. Meltdown? You are projecting.
Now you can rationalize your desire to vote for a Democrat by pulling out the purity card..
I can't help but to notice that you didn't respond to what I said about illegal immigration. I take it you don't care if your candidate is deceiving you about their position about the border wall and the final state of illegals in this country?
Yeah, except most people know what that is:
Freemarket reforms, returning it back to what it was, plus portablity, interstate marketing, and high risk pools in every state. Health Savings Accounts and Association Health Plans.
I gotta agree. I don’t criticize Trump but, I tell anyone who’ll listen that Ted Cruz is the most Constitutional of any of the candidates.
The opposite of purity is corruption. People that have an issue with working toward purity obviously are going in the opposite direction.
There is a reason Trumps loudest supporters were also those screaming that we had to vote for the baby incinerator. They, like the objects of their delusions, are liberals.
It’s a lesser evil...
I support Ted Cruz. Now give me one conservative reason on this conservative website that I as a conservative should not the most conservative candidate, Ted Cruz, and instead, back a man with a history of liberalism?
And bear in mind, I am perfectly fine with any liberal beating any other liberal if America is too stupid to vote with me for a conservative. Because f America loses with any liberal victory, it’s on you, not me.
ALL on you.
Projecting? I wasn’t the one cursing and foaming, friend. If you want to win people for your candidate, that’s not the way.
Here’s what I know about Ted Cruz.
I know that the country and the Constitution have been his passions since his earliest years, and that he’s been a fighter since his days as Solicitor General of Texas.
He has a history of standing alone against the corrupt GOP in Washington.
I also know that Cruz is not pro-amnesty, and anyone who says otherwise is lying. He’s been clear about it.
As for the H1B visas, yeah,I’m not in love with that. But no candidate is going to be perfect, despite your “purity” strawman. As believing Christians-—and I know you are one-—we understand that perfection is the province of God.
Cruz is still by far the best choice in terms of conservatism, fighting spirit, and intellect.
And while no candidate is perfect, there’s a huge swath of difference between a man like Cruz and a Democrat.
i know what it is, too.
A Democrat trying to say the right things to a conservative audience.
Does Cruz believe that granting legal status to illegals "isn't amnesty" as long as there is some punishment involved, like a fine? And why does Cruz want to have a "conversation about illegals" after he supposedly secures the border? Can't we have a declaration that he will promise to deport all the illegal aliens? Why do we want to talk about it with RINOs who are going to say "We can't deport them so let's give them legal status!"?
Preach it, brother.
I’ve seen all kinds of things justified lately.
Ii remember when FR was a conservative site. I miss that.
I’ll take issue with Rush. Electing Jeb Bush over Hillary is not going to stop the demise of the USA.
As for Cruz:
"Do you support any form of pathway to citizenship---not amnesty, but pathway---for those that are already here?"
"No, there should be no pathway to citizenship for those who are here illegally. I don't support amnesty."
