That was a really soft voiced douchebag GOP caller...
Rush is entertaining me not.

I was thinking the same thing. Didn’t Rush used to refer to these guys as “The New Castrati”?
I think Rush said he does not “dump” on his own team. He said he was getting lots of emails to dump Erick. Rush would not pile on and said “ now if they choose to blow themselves up” or something to that effect....it’s their issue, not mine”
I’ll tune in for Steyn and for the occasional guest appearance of Walter Williams. If Rush isn’t bringing it, I listen more and more to Kuhner on WRKO during the same time slot. Rush’s show isn’t like it was 20+ years ago, when he regularly skewered his targets.
AKA, Rush isn’t canning Erickson so here’s a big FU to his audience.
Hey all!
Yep haha :D
That is exactly who that guy was.
No, it is definitely not the same. It’s missing the parodies, and Rush is really tame.
Plus I get tired of hearing the explanation that the GOP is afraid of its own shadow.
No, it’s not, the GOP is liberal. It’s as simple as that.
He’s probably planning to take off again in the near future and needs Erickson to sub for him.
Why he doesn’t make Steyn the default sub is beyond me.
Now Rush is admitting that he knows Megyn Kelly socially.
I don’t think Steyn wants to be his go to guy. I think he likes being everyone’s favorite, come in and do a couple days and he’s done. Steyn would rather write than do a radio show IMHO.
Meanwhile, this will take some time to chew, but it is rattling my mind about the election.
I consolidated the analysis by Sundance at Conservative Treehouse with this post:
"For the professional Republicans they dont actually care if they win or lose.
If the hierarchy, the professional political class, within the republican party loses an election to Democrats its only a lost election; they are still there, and still comfortable even in the minority.
However, if the hierarchy within the republican party loses an election to Conservatives, they are out of a job.
Big Government Democrats and Republicans are the professional political class.
Wall Street, The CoC, et al win so long as they get either Hillary or Jeb. Theyll spend what ever blillions are needed to get the election to that end.
Conservatives are already viewed by Republicans as a third party. Why do we resist it so much?"

Lastly, this from Sundance back in July:
Why I Support Donald Trumps Campaign And Its Probably Not What You Think

I am not convinced that Trump actually wants to be President, but these 3 analyses by Sundance merit our serious deliberation...

As I have posted early in this thread, when his next vacation comes up, and I am wondering if it will be towards the end of this month, going into Labor Day weekend, will he invite Mr. Erickson? I do listen if it is Steyn myself, and the guy from WI also. We shall see.
Thanks Biggirl!
Wasn’t trying to be a Troll today! ;-)
As it has been, folks are being smoked out to their true identities.
Good analysis.
It’s finally dawning on me that Establishment Republicans hate conservatives more than they do Democrats.
“...and the guy from WI also...”

That would be Mark Belling (sp). I actually like Mark fairly well, but know some can’t stand him.
I really miss Rodger Hedgecock; he was a great sub host!
