Isn’t the RAT Party the Party of the little people?
Not anymore I guess.
I guess he is upset because there are low income people who choose not to be on the dole?
I, Pencil is an article written in 1958 by Leonard E. Read. The burden of the article is that free enterprise subtly optimizes the production of goods, and (implicitly) that it would be absurd to expect the government to be able to do nearly as well. I prefer to state the case, however, that (in Reads example) it is society as a whole, not just the Eberhard Faber company, which makes the pencil. As Common Sense puts it,
SOME writers have so confounded society with government, as to leave little or no distinction between them; whereas they are not only different, but have different origins. Society is produced by our wants, and government by our wickedness; the former promotes our happiness POSITIVELY by uniting our affections, the latter NEGATIVELY by restraining our vices. The one encourages intercourse, the other creates distinctions. The first is a patron, the last a punisher.Socialists - including all Democrats and too many Republicans - assume that the necessary evil of government is, and without difficulty can be made into a better, positive good. The TEA Party stands for society as a blessing - and against the aggrandizement of the necessary evil known as government. We can scarcely be surprised to learn of slander against American society by advocates of greater tyranny.Society in every state is a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil . . . – Thomas Paine, Common Sense (1776)

Yeah and not enough of the folks came out of the hood to support your canidate, right putz? See how it feels. Not all voters are stupid with in some ways highlights the popularity of Donald Trump, who does not live in a trailer park.

Trailers have woodwork? Mixed metaphor, there. Most have melamine, formica, fiberglass and/or vinyl. Easier to maintain.
I thought the R party was the party of the fat cats, not the “common people” who live in trailer parks - Dangit! I’ll have to switch parties now - I don’t want to be “common”!!! /s
Or interpreted the Bible literally. Or been the victim of a tornado.
Well, you get the drift.
I've lived in NYC, Boston, Miami and other cities.
I now live in Ignacio,CO...a very small town located within The Southern Ute Tribal Land. I've been in this area for 24 years and have NO plans to ever live in a city or even visit one.
I love it here.
