this could wind up to be a self fulfilling prophecy. given his monumental ego and shaky grip on reality, he is sure to blame the GOP when he loses. nothing seems to be his fault.

Uh...he has these clowns on the run and unsure of what he is doing.
Do you expect him to say “If Karl Rove etal don’t want me to run as an R, I will just bow out”.......
He is saying exactly what he needs to say

Obvious pattern regarding Trump and Perot and their role:
Both super rich, pseudo conservative, media sound bite lighting rods, bombastic characters dismissed by pundits, drawing independent quasi conservative voters to vote third party, essentially guaranting democratic win (Clinton I & II)
This plot is so predictable.

Hell, I'm one who hopes he runs as 3rd party no matter how well the GOP treats him.
The stench of Republicans is not something that aids ANY candidate.
Trump can win without them.
First, the GOP must die.
Everything else comes after that.

The GOP is dishonest and corrupt. Why do you think we have not gotten a decent candidate since Reagan? Who, by the way, they were trying to also eliminate. Trump knows he is not welcome in the GOP.

This is just a convenient made ahead time excuse to switch to third party after the republican primaries kick him to the curb.

Yep - he this election’s Ross Perot.
He’s donated big bucks to the dems over the years - and supported Hitlery in the past.
They got a deal - and the Sheeple are swallowing it.
Heck - it worked to get Bill in -
