I know this is not PC, but Trump seems to know exactly what he is doing and always seems very relaxed. He has a very seasoned and experienced team behind him.

Right now he is in phase one of winning the bid which in this case is winning the presidency.

In phase one of winning the bid, his objective is to slaughter his competition. He is luring them off the reservation and they are all taking the bait. Once out in the open he slaughters them one by one.

The reservation is of course the political reservation. Politicians know how to talk and get elected but they know nothing about running anything. Not only does Trump have to know how to talk and win the bid, but once he wins the bid he knows how to build something and something big.

Politicians are missing the third ingredient. They have no clue how to run the country once they are in power. They are clueless.

So Trump will stick an arrow in each competitor and watch them slowly die over the course of the campaign and that includes Clinton.

Has anyone else mentioned the elephant in the room?

I don’t think anyone has.

Yes, someone needed to actually say it.

Cruz went to Trump’s office to kiss his ring. Trump and Cruz will be tag teaming against all the rinos which is everyone except them.

At least one someone is going to be so full of themselves that they'll make an ass out of themselves...It won't be Trump.

This is going to be like grade school debate class for him.

He won't have to knock one person during the so called debate. He can wait until after, when the media will be running past the children to talk to the teacher.

Surely Ted Cruz is not worried. He was a national champion debater in college; he should be able to handle anything.

If Cruz is allowed in this debate. Besides being a smart and adept debater, Cruz and Trump don't have a lot that they have come out with that differs significantly - they would be more likely to have a conversation that the rest had trouble following....

They may have to actually answer a question or take a position on an issue.

They had a brief segment on Fox and Friends earlier this morning (Sunday) re debate prep and that some of the candidates even have stand ins for the other 9 candidates. Apparently, the Jebster is doing a lot of prepping, Cruz is doing some prep and Trump isn’t doing any. Some may look at this as Trump being arrogant as he thinks he doesn’t need to prep; however, as you mentioned in your post, he has had many years of dealing in the NY development market and studies his competition (he’s also mentioned that he’s dealt with the Chinese and others around the world). I also think he speaks more off the cuff, so to speak, than any other candidate, except perhaps Sen. Cruz, who IMHO always gives thoughtful, articulate responses. I think the other candidates have their talking points.

They also mentioned on FNC that each candidate was only going to have about 10 minutes, so they’re working on getting their talking points and responses down so they can get their points across.

Interesting.

It is as if Trump has been in training to run for the presidency for 30 years in the New York developer markets. I know without a doubt that Trump has won his development projects with a lot of research of his competition and customers. This man leaves nothing to chance. Don’t fool yourself.

When he has gone in front of his customers he knew what to do and say. There is no way he went in there unprepared. Whereas all the other candidates think the debates are reality, Trump knows that winning the contract is reality. Whereas the other candidates think that all they need to do is win the debate to get the vote and then they don’t have to do anything, Trump realizes that he is going to have to deliver once he wins and this comes out in his attitude. Politicians assume that the voters understand they don’t have to do anything once they get elected. Trump thinks differently.

The other big difference between Trump and the others is that Trump has a very, very strong sense of purpose. The other candidates are purposeless. They do not know who they are so when you listen to them talk your BS meter immediately goes off the charts. What the candidates will say at the debates will be total crap. The only “prep” they are doing is to be the best liar of all of them.

Trump will go in there because he knows once he wins he has to do something. That will come out. Trump has a very strong sense of purpose and he knows who he is. I know I’ve said this already but I can’t stress it enough. That is why he is winning. Of course his billions do not hurt, but that is only a confirmation that he will fit easily into the role of president.

I cannot stress enough Trump’s sense of purpose. That purpose is opening the doors when he needs them opened. You can tell the others don’t have the same sense of purpose because they are struggling so hard. They have no idea who they are and every step of the way the doors are slamming in their faces. Look at Jeb!
