Ted Cruz and Donald Trump are our last great hopes. If the GOPe is successful in kneecapping Ted out of the nomination, then Trump can go forward as a.third party candidate and wage war against the GOPe candidate.

In any event, the most important objective of the 2016 campaign should be the utter political destruction of the GOPe-led Republican party.

Yup...if Trump goes third party, say “hello” to President Shrillary.

He has to know that if he runs as an independent, he will siphon off votes from the GOP nominee and ensure the election of Hillary.

Why is it on Trump's head for this?

Can the GOP, if they are truly concerned with winning the White House, see that IF they decide to back Jeb Bush. they have NO chance of winning?

I mean, really, is Jeb Bush the best the GOP can offer?

If it is, then maybe we take one for the team and vote 3rd party. It's better than NOT voting at all, isn't it?

We had 2 LOSERS in a row (McCain and Romney).

Please, can anyone tell me what he difference between a vote for Jeb Bush(R) or a vote for Donald Trump (I) would be? Either way, Hillary (or whoever the dems nominate) will win.

Well, at least it is only money.

If you’ve got your health, you’ve got everything!

That’s why I take Geritol everyday.

You should too.

Interesting how all the lefty news outlets keep pushing this story. This is, of course, playing right into Trump’s hands. The GOPe is threatening him with special debate and running rules ( as a contender, must sign a pledge to support the eventual nominee, etc.) Trump (and anybody else with half a brain) knows a third party race would split the Republican vote and put a Clinton in the White House...as it did before with Perot. The GOPe knows that, too. They threaten Trump with special rules, he counterattacks threatening to destroy them with a third party run. He also knows the lefty media would love this, so he says it is “not ruled out” signaling to the left it is going to happen. The lefty news media then threatens the GOPe daily with these stories, which is exactly Trump’s plan. Trump is playing the lefties better than the democrats ever did. Fun to watch a marketing pro do his magic.

The worst part of getting older is watching the less wise among us make the same stupid mistakes we’ve watched so many others make in the past.

Mark my words, Trump WILL screw his supporters badly.

I think the play is to go third party where he can bash all the other Republicans and expose their dirty laundry (all except Cruz) and then drop out of the race at the last minute, but not before he endorses Cruz. Just my guess.

If Hillary is elected she will continue with the Obama plan to move the inner city trash from where they live in the cities out to the suburbs, leaving a whole lot of prime real estate in the cities just waiting to be developed.

What a coincidence, looks like the Donald could end up being the big winner if Hillary is elected.

Funny,

He also told us he only wanted to run as a Republican. Trump is already changing his tone...

And we think we can trust him?

You mean the Hillary he once spoke glowingly of and had at his 3rd wedding? The Hillary he contributed lots of cash to? That Hillary.

Soooooo I guess most freepers couldn’t run either as I’m pretty sure that having more than about 15 people at your wedding would probably mean ya got a dem in there somewhere. This is just getting silly now.

and Donald Trump are our last great hopes.

First there is no "last great hopes" because you have no idea what the future holds.

Second, if you really think Trump is that vital to conservatism I feel kinda bad for you considering Trump's long liberal track record (on positions and pouring money into the coffers of liberal politicians).

Cruz is terrific, but Trump is effectively boxing him out right now. Cruz is a "tell it like it is" guy, and Trump is siphoning off that support from people who don't know that "the Donald" is a clown out only for himself and his brand.
