Trump has nothing to do with it.

Ted Cruz has always been this way. As Texas Solicitor General, Cruz successfully fought the Bush justice department who on behalf of Mexico wanted Texas to drop the death penalty for an illegal convicted of murder in Texas.

That was my first notice of Ted Cruz being different than most.

Yes, us Early Adopters know about Cruz, but the masses don’t. And what Trump has done is to bring to the forefront those issues on which Cruz shines.

This statement has Cruz written all over it. Lay the financial crisis on the Bush Family— which most Americans believe.

Yeah, they believe it, because the Liberal Left Wing Democrat Union members who have a total lockdown monopoly on the Media have constantly led them to believe that.

The Truth is, Jimmy Carter (another Man Child Idiot) Initiated the process of keeping racial data for bank loans, and Bill Clinton decided to enforce racially biased loaning practices with the Government (Through Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac) guaranteeing those bad loans.

Faggot from Massachusetts Barney Frank, and Faggot from Illinois Barack Obama ran interference with any attempts to reign in the idiocy and excess caused by the Bill Clinton Banker Enrichment/Racist Loans con.

The Financial crises of 2008 was caused entirely by Democrats, but the Democrat media complex blamed the people who tried to prevent it from happening.

Cruz learning from Trump. Speaking truth to power is popular.

He has zero chance at the GOP Presidential Nomination

Time will tell if your prediction is in any way true.

It will be interesting to see what McConnell does. As a presidential candidate, Cruz may get a pass on this. Otherwise, I suspect the Senate leadership would demand action.

but he just crossed a line that may make him totally ineffective in the legislative process.
***************

Which legislative process is that? The McConnell/Reid/Obama “here’s how we run socialist America” process?

Ted Cruz is shining a light on a corrupt, un-American process— I would think the proper response is - thank you.

“Telling it as it is”??? Perhaps, but he just crossed a line that may make him totally ineffective in the legislative process. He may find his only committee assignment to be on the Post Office Honorary Naming sub-committee. He has zero chance at the GOP Presidential Nomination, so I don’t know where he goes from here.

Go along to get along will never get us out of the mess we're in. The conservatives are totally ineffective if they don't stand up to McConnell.

Cruz is showing some courage. My guess is he's going all in for a higher position - either Pres, VP, or a high cabinet position.

Well, it happened on Bush's watch. Bush allowed us to get bogged down in Iraq and neglected the financial system.

There were smart people who saw the financial crash coming, why didn't Bush? Bush and weak candidate McCain sealed our fate to the radical Obama.

Well I guess we know why he added the Obamacare amendment. To deflect heat from passing the Export-Import Bank amendment. We all knew the Obamacare amendment was theater, bad theater as usual.

Spot on. I heard on a radio news break a few minutes ago about the attempt to repeal Obamacare and wondered what was in it for McConnell and his donors. The report never mentioned the E-I Bank bill. And this is FOX.

I thought Obama's reelection was the death knell for this country. Turns out it was Boehner and McConnell being voted back into leadership.

The GOP and the Dems have been playing “good cop-bad cop” with us since 1995.

That is twenty years.

Whether it is through Trump, Cruz or someone else, the only way America becomes great again will be through a political party that is not beholden to the DC cartel.

And that party does not exist today.

Politically, the Bush Family owns the 2008 financial crisis— that’s Jeb’s legacy.

I hate agreeing with leftists but it is a fact that clowns like McConnell are bought and paid for by big business. And it is high time that somebody on our side called him out on it. Way to go Ted Cruz!

Trump is helping Cruz, in that Trump has gotten the issues where Cruz stands out, out there in the media and to the masses.

I completely agree with this. But Ted Cruz has been the voice of the Tea Party issues ever since he became part of the Senate. He has not needed Donald to "rub off on him".
