The Republican-controlled Congress, (has 60 days once the agreement is in hand), is indeed likely to voice disapproval one way or another with the deal, which has been critiqued by almost all of the party’s leaders. But as with any other legislative process, there’s a catch — in nearly the same breath as he announced that a deal had been reached, US President Barack Obama vowed to veto any congressional attempt to sink it”....

When that happens, the deal’s opponents would have to enlist enough Democratic votes to overturn the presidential veto, which requires a two-thirds majority in the Senate (and the House of Representatives). In other words, the president only needs to secure 34 Democratic votes in the Senate to ensure that the deal stands; there are currently 54 Republican, 44 Democratic and two independent senators (both of whom caucus with the Democrats).

Obama’s administration will go full throttle to avoid a falling away of Democratic support during the 60-day review period.

The congressional leadership could also simply put the deal up for a vote of approval, which it would almost certainly lose. At that point, the president wold’t have anything to veto (he can’t veto a resolution that has failed), but would have to explain why he was sticking with a deal even when the voice of the people – the legislature – had clearly expressed its disapproval.

(All of this will take much time so how long can it be stalled off...and further...there's stepping blocks along the way...can Obama fulfill these even if it's in Congress without a vote? I understand not. ...Meanwhile Iran will continue it's buildup while this nation hassles over the deal no deal.)

A web site like JT that forces all user comments to filter through Zuckerberg’s Facebook, who as we all know is a die-hard liberal, pro illegal immigrant, pro gay marriage, anti-privacy, and PRO gun control, I find disturbing as a conservative.

The movement to Facebook the world is a movement to turn us into liberal puppets. You all may think otherwise, and I respect your right to that opinion, unlike liberals that respect only PC.

Time to ramp up a campaign about all of the Democrats who won’t vote this thing down in the Senate...

EVERY one of them supports nuclear power (as an energy source, the stated goal, and implicitly nuclear arms proliferation as well).

Their greenie weenie base must love that. Start initiatives to increase the number of nuclear power plants in America and ask why these same Democrats would possibly say “no”.
