You are correct. There is a remedy in all this lawlessness and it belongs to Congress. I thought we elected Republicans to both Houses, but they are traitorously shirking their duty here. They need to be hung with the rest of them.

Not to throw cold water on the outrage, but I find it interesting that the article doesn’t provide a link to the official government announcement with regard to this policy.

Before we get too worked up, we really ought to take a look at what the government has actually done, not take the word of a somewhat fringe organization about it.

Does somebody have a link?

Becket Fund for Religious Liberty.

If you know anything about Becket, that’s an amusing title.

Becket would have been astonished and appalled by our modern ideas of religious liberty for individuals.

What he died for was the freedom of religious organizations against control by the state, quite different idea. Although it is, I guess, pretty relevant in this particular case.

I saw it coming when several liberal politicians claimed that only religious organisations have freedom of religion instead of the USSC that has ruled that individuals also have freedom of religion.

Remember this...many libs in the MSM have already stated that you are free to believe as you wish....but not in the public square...only at home and in houses of worship.

This goes against the very grians of our founding....

They have added that coveat to the 1st amendment without even so much as a congressional vote.....much less an amendment...

You now are free to worship as we see fit, and where we see fit...thank you for your compliance citizen: FEDGOV.ORG

Civil disobedience and defiance will become the rule of the day in fighting back against this unconstitutional government.

I'm all for it. You first.

I flip the big finger to the feds everyday when I fly my flags out front of my property. The American Flag, the Tea Party "Don't Tread On Me" flag and the Confederate flag.

I am almost 70, so doing chores around the farm is tough enough. Any active insurrection will not include me and my two artificial knees and repaired heart.

So no, you go first. :-)

Don’t complain. “It was the only choice you had” Remember?

Of course people could have told the GOP to pound salt and elected conservatives but they willingly chose not to fight and instead to send ‘lesser evil’ to defend America from Barry. DEMANDED we elect those lesser evils in fact. Now there is only evil.

History is what it is. Don’t repeat it. MAYBE there will be one more election to vote in. Conservative or more evil. Take your pick.

Well, Comrade Chairman Obumble IS the brainworks of the farm.

His directives and opinions are more equal than those of the unwashed proletariat and their archaic systems of non-progressive self-governance.

Of course people could have told the GOP to pound salt and elected conservatives

Well that worked real well for you did it not?

Not only did you end up with Obama, but the GOP totally misread your message that you sent them and doubled down on their attacks against conservatives for the past three years. They are also attacking the Tea Party and the Conservative reps we sent them in the last two midterms.

I'll tell you why this happened.....again....and I'll tell you why it's different in 2016.

In 2012, there were not nearly enough PO'd conservatives to make any difference or send any message to the GOP that they would pay attention to. The GOP, in their so called rationality, attributed the loss to a lack of independent and minority votes, but the data says they are wrong because Romney won the independent vote big time.

What this means is that the GOP does not think that the Conservative base is necessary for a win, and thus they send up wishy-washy moderates for the big campaigns..

Nothing has changed really in this regard as it was a miracle that Reagan was elected for his first term.

The GOP had the same mindset then as they do now. Well now it's the 2016 Campaign and what do you see...?

I see a totally broken party and I note that nearly the entire conservative wing is very angry and vocal about it. I did not see this last election but I do now.

If there ever was a time to send a message to the GOP that we are tired of this crap and are not going to take it anymore, the time is at hand and for the first time in my political memory.

So that is what I am going to do.

We don't really have any disagreement in principle. We have and continue to have a disagreement about tactics and the right time to pull the trigger, so to speak and reject the usual "hold your nose vote" that I have had to do since Nixon, Bob Dole, McStain, Romney....

As a rule, the GOP knows that we have little choice in the matter because we are a minority part of the voter base. But since 2012, based on anecdotal evidence, the Conservative base has grown larger...perhaps much larger.

2012 was then, and this is NOW.

Now is the time to pull that trigger because they will have no choice but to admit they screwed up and heads will roll.

That's my hope anyway...and I think it's possible to do for the first time since Reagan and be successful in sending that message. The same message you have tried to send, but with different timing strategically.

This is a long term war of sorts...You only hurt yourself if you try to launch a offensive action too early.

And that is what happened in 2012.

Excuses. Nothing but excuses. Eventually you’ll face up to reality. Reality will force you to.

You also think lesser evil voting results in conservatism. Otherwise you wouldn’t do it.

So what you think and reality are not related.

I’ve already been through this in every way I could express myself.

The reality is:

1. You achieved nothing in 2012 with what is essentially a protest vote.

2. This outcome was easy for me to predict.

3. 2016 is a totally different situation in my view.

That’s it.....That is reality supported by the facts and one supposition by me saying that 2016 is different. I have already explained in detail why that is. So that too is supported by facts.
