Yeah, but while the crime rate goes up, it will be reported less. It will be like the School system in Hillsborough County, Florida in the 80s and 90s. At that point in time , gang activity was everywhere except in the schools. Why? Because , behind the channels, the Principles were admonished not to report or discuss it. Thus, to an outsider looking in, there was no gang activity in Hillsborough County schools.

But as far as Baltimore goes, if the residents, or a majority of residents, want to live like animals, it is their choice. The ones that don't can leave.

The main reason politicians hate police corruption is; they see every dollar that the police take in is one less dollar that they get. In other words, they are not getting rid of the corruption, they are just channeling it into their pockets.
