There are a lot of armed Israelis. But it’s more common in Judah and Samaria than in Tel Aviv or Netanya. Yes, every class going on a field trip has at least one armed teacher escorting. Bus drivers are armed. IDF troops use the public busses to get around. They ride for free, and pack heat. Personally, though, I haven’t yet girded my loins to deal with the bureaucrats, mainly because I can’t afford a gun just yet, so why bother with the license.
