“If Trump catches on I hope he catches on big enough to not just be a spoiler. The ever looming danger of spoilers is the downside of the two-party system”
For once you and I totally agree. I have a feeling Trump is going to put together a pretty good team or he wouldn’t bother. The is a businessman afterall. I he either has to go big or go home.
I think his Trump brand bottled water flopped but that was no big deal.
“Could he coax Cruz into being his veep?”
Not a bad idea. He could mentor Ted on the art of the deal of how to negotiate real free trade agreements. I like Ted I just think he’s too green for the job right now.
Where in the Constitution does it say that it is the President’s job to create jobs? (Apart, of course, from the officials appointed by the President—usually to replace a person who held the same position earlier.)
Trump strikes me as someone who's trying to close a deal that holds something good for him. As a deal maker, he's willing to say whatever (he thinks) the other side wants to hear, if it will convince them to close the deal.
As I wrote on another thread, I’d take Bozo the Clown over any of the corrupt thieves that work for the federal government. The ONLY way to fix Washington is to hire someone NOT FROM Washington. Good on Trump for stating his beliefs without a filter from the party establishment.
Oh Lord....Please take me and put me out of my misery if that is the ticket. Just send a bolt of lightening and end it. If that is the ticket, I’ve had enough. We certainly dig deep into the dregs of society when wanting a Presidential ticket. A three-time divorced adulterer to boot. A guy bankrupt twice. And then a guy with zero experience. Actually the entire ticket would me missing experience. Lord, we can’t get any worse then your wishful ticket that is for sure.

EACH branch of our government SHOULD be promoting and protecting the free market ideas our Founder’s believed in.
You are correct, “A three-time divorced adulterer” is actually much too honest to reside in DC.
A loose cannon running for president.
Great!!
We have had one divorced President in our entire history. That’s enough. We lucked out with that one but it could have ended badly. It was a risk and we won but risks do not always end up in our favor.
The biggest risk this country faces is to continue keep letting federal employees get promoted. Both parties have driven this country to the brink.
No you won’t Trump!
First, you’re not going to be nominated.
Second, Ronald Reagan already has that title.
Go away Mr. Ego.
“it was Donald Trump and his monumental ego who didnt want to share the elevator with any peons like me.”
Met the guy a few times in my line of work and that sounds exactly right. He’s far more of an ***hole in real life than on TV.
Even uses those goons you saw to intimidate people at meetings.
“The ever looming danger of spoilers is the downside of the two-party system”
“spoilers” is a term normally applied to third party candidates.
I agree, and the guy is not dependent on anyone or any party. Looking forward to hearing more.
Dunno, if he’s learned his marital lesson so to speak from his wild oats... and as for the bankruptcies there is the bromide that if you never fail you never tried as hard as you could.
For business he wouldn’t be any WORSE than Mitt.
He’d probably also at least RESPECT “religion” which is better than our current _resident or Hillary! would do.
This does not look like an aspirant for Democrat or Republican. I see a Trump party forming.
