Wish he would run, though. Although, I bet he is hell on Second Amendment issues, being a New Yorker all his life. If he was, I could not support him. I am a single (maybe dual) issue voter.

When you are in a big Dem city surrounded by Dems and need Dems to get your projects approved by Dems, you will need to contribute to Dems.
From what I’ve read ... Trump is merely providing a two page summary ... and not the ‘legal’ financial paperwork required when declaring yourself. IMO ... if Trump, or any other pol does not file the legal paperwork ... they should not be allowed to participate to any of the formal debates. They should not get to file extensions and be included in the debates.
Only after all the official financials are reported, should the pols be included.
As for Trump in particular ... IMO ... this is just a freaking PR stunt for him. We need serious folks discussing their proposals for moving this country forward. And Trump ain’t serious — he’s a joke. A loud joke ... but still a joke.
If he's serious about restricting immigration and negotiating trade deals that benefit America rather than foreign governments, the best thing to do is to keep quiet about him, because there's nothing that kills a right cause like the wrong spokesman.
He explains that he at least got Obama to produce the birth certificate which some believe they can prove is a forgery. He points out that Hillary and McCain weren’t able to get people to do that.
