Do you have ANY concerns about this matter or is everything just fine?

I believe that there are misunderstandings about the “guilt by association” charge that anyone and everyone who was there was summarily rounded up and arrested. That is not the case by a very long shot. That obvious fact seems lost on some of the posters here, and I do believe that is very pertinent in itself.

No everything is not just fine as far as we know. I hope Breitbart’s request for the videos bears fruit, despite the fact that that may be merely idle curiosity on all our parts rather than regard for the criminal cases which might be forthcoming. I will admit, I am as curious as most, and would indeed like to see the videos! Show what they may, it can only elucidate the TRUTH which we all want.

Interestingly, the Confederation called off the massive bike ride this past Sunday so as to not to inflame an already volatile situation. Prayers were answered.

don-o there is very much of an inflammatory nature being posted on these threads.

I have many concerns. Not the least, that the truly criminal gangs are being given cover not only by the “innocent recreational” bikers, but now, by cover of Christian bakers, Freepers, Tea Party, etc. none of whom are in the least associated with criminal gang activity, nor condone it. To have these parties brought into the debate in order to egregiously defend legitimately defined RICO criminal gangs, brings neither the guilty nor the innocent closer to justice.

Servus.

I submit that you cannot see the forest for the trees. Conflating a reasonable suspicion that innocent bystanders may have been rounded up with providing "cover" for criminals is a facile position to take and then insist on. Refusing to examine the trampling of 4th and 14th Amendment rights misses a huge piece of the story.

Some seem to think that some of us wish to see criminals get away with it; or that there is some toleration or sympathy for them. I WILL confess to agreeing that it is better that 100 guilty go free than one innocent be punished. We are not there yet, but the type of meat grinder justice going on in Waco worries me that that is not a prevailing sentiment any more.

I am past out of patience with the complaints about tone and language. This ain't beanbag. What we have left of a Republic we have because people have fought and died for it. It is an ugly and rough business.

Those who are entrusted with administering justice do not get to act in the dark. They are our servants, not our overlords.

A few years ago, James "Whitey" Bulger the leader of a (non-biker) Boston based criminal gang was convicted of multiple racketeering, murder, and other charges. Most if not all of the charges stem from a period when Bulger was working with the FBI (note that Bulger claims the FBI was working for him. If you have Netflix you can watch the documentary about his trial and make your own decision).

When I saw the first reports of the Waco story: nine dead, eight of the dead are from one "upstart" gang, and police admit to firing during the altercation, my first thought was this sounds like a Whitey Bulger operation.

Anyhow, if you think of Bulger as a Bandido without a motorcycle, the Waco situation looks like one of his plans: A crew of his enemies are eliminated with the help of law enforcement.

I am not trying to insinuate that law enforcement did anything illegal during the brawl at Waco, I am saying that they are not above suspicion of having done so.

The further events: the arrest of 177 people and holding them on $1,000,000 bail is just incredible. Kudos to don-o who has done an excellent job explaining how this is not the "the rule of law" which is the foundation of our country.
