The "American Sniper" director reportedly made the joke when introducing Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at the 2015 Guys' Choice Awards Saturday night. He compared Johnson to former athletes who turn to acting like "Jim Brown and Caitlyn Somebody..."
Oh, look! Another awards show I'll never watch!

The award show, which will air June 18, was advertised in press material as “unfiltered, unpredictable” and is hosted by “Empire” stars Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard.”
...if it jabs at Palin, Bush, Cruz or some other low life conservative, it’ll be “unfiltered” but VERY predictable. Never heard of “Spike”, never heard of Empire, never heard of Henson or Howard. So, no loss.

He compared Johnson to former athletes who turn to acting like "Jim Brown and Caitlyn Somebody..." That was too offensive to show? I'm not sure why this is not called the "2015 Gays' Choice Awards". Guy's are not too delicate to survive a comment that mild.

Had I watched the awards, I probably would never have noticed the joke. But now, thanks to Spike cutting it, I now know of it.
Thank you, Spike, for ensuring that more people than will ever watch an awards ceremony on Spike knows that you’re so afraid of the Kardasians that you’d spike any reference, including scant references, to the mentally ill within that family.

And Spike TV paid-up when Spike whatshisname (the so-called filmmaker) muscled them for a payoff for `stealing’ his name.
For a guys’ network, these guys have balls like BBs.

They can’t let the truth ever make anyone feel uncomfortable now can they? So now even mild humor must be censored.

Spike TV to cut Clint Eastwood's Caitlyn Jenner joke "We must not tolerate "bad think." "

That must be the least offensive thing anybody's ever said about Jenner.
In fact, it's barely about Jenner at all.

So much for Spike being a network for guys. PC pussies. I can’t even figure out what’s supposed to be “offensive” about it.
